Zigzag Vending Posted June 27, 2016 Share Posted June 27, 2016 Ive noticed that a potential problem with vending candy or nuts is trying to find that balance when making it appear full and not putting so much in a location that it spoils. Im wondering, if u have a machine where u can replace the sides or back with an extended back, can that be inserted backwards so that it takes up space and it takes less product to make it appear full? A common trick in "standard" style machines (or at least the one I was shown) was to take a washed-out peanut butter jar without the label, and drill a hole in the bottom and lid to fill up space in the center. I think I've got a picture of one, let me see if I can find it... I like the idea of the peanut butter jar. Might try that. I have one Loc that calls me whenever my machine falls below half...
