siriamme Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 I have an indoor rated machine(dixie narco 5591) that i wanted to put a roof on top of vending machine so i can use it for outdoors. Water COULD get in there if the seal isn't perfect or you could get lots of condensation if there's any air leaks (which is very possible with an older machine like that if you ask me...). AngryChris Posted September 27, 2016 Share Posted September 27, 2016 Sunlight is simply a direct source of radiation (heat) that will force your refrigeration to work even harder. Just like how you'll feel warmer in direct sunlight as opposed to being in the shade, your product inside (including the parts and everything else) will get warmer from the sunlight while the refrigeration system has to work harder to keep everything at temperature. Stack vendors (traditional soda machines) don't have this problem nearly as much because the entire cabinet is enclosed where no light can get inside, but the light will penetrate the glass and warm things up, just like it will do in your own living room or inside your car. What If the GFIC fails in a way that it will not turn off the circuit? What If you fail the test the GFIC weekly as directed by the GFIC’s instruction? What If the ground wire to the machine fails open and the machine is no longer grounded? What If the machine develops a fault connecting the hot wire the machines case? What If the cutest 6 year old girl gets out of the pool touches the machine and is electrocuted? Question 1 Could you live with yourself? Question 2 Would your insurance company void your policy since you willfully, knowingly and deliberately violated the manufactures usage instructions? Question 3 In the civil case will the jury take your last dime away from you? Question 4 If the prosecutor finds the post will he charge you with murder? Question 5 Will the jury convict you?
