Petr Posted December 5, 2016 Share Posted December 5, 2016 Hello there, I'm going to build up a simple machine for alcohol shots. Box will be rebuilded from an old one with cooling system. There is gonna fit 4 retro buttons, contactless card reader and receipt printer on the front. Client can choose from 1 till 4 shots. Then the number on contactless terminal shows amount to pay. After payment get client the shots and receipt. I have a background in industrial automation but I've newer made any vending machine. There is a block diagram what I drew in attachment. Walta Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 First talk to your lawyer! My guess is no state will allow a machine to sell alcohol without human supervision. In fact most states regulate what sizes of liquor bottle are allowed. Every version of every label must be approved before it can be marketed. Also heed the legal warning from Walta. In NC and SC this machine would be illegal if commercially operated. Not sure what state you're in but check those laws. Jazar Posted January 17, 2017 Share Posted January 17, 2017 I believe that there is already a vending machine that vends alcohol. I think that there were too many regulations to make it work. But, I do hear that Europe and Asia (England, Germany and Japan specifically) has had them -- or did at one time. I think a few states have toyed with the idea.
