Glass Front Machine

I have a location that I want to upgrade the vending at and was thinking of installing a bevmax 4.  The location is high traffic and there is only room for one drink machine next to a snack machine.  Is it a good idea to use the Bevmax as my only drink machine.  The location is some distance from me and I am worried that service calls could be a problem?

My first concern, aside from the price of a Bevmax 4,  would be your volume requirements as  no glass front will hold more than 400 12 oz. cans and a lesser number of larger products.  And as each column is only 8 cans deep you probably won't get all the selections as you'll find yourself doubling on the most popular items.  In my case that would mean about half the machine would be devoted to Coke.

If you can get large (9-wide) bevmax thru the doors, it will hold about 400 cans - 9 rows per shelf, 9 cans per row X 5 shelves = 405.  8 per row if you use 20 oz bottles.  with 45 rows, you will run 4 to 5 rows (9 X 5 = 45, or about 2 cases) with each of your top 2 or 3 sellers, and will end up with 16 to 18 selections.  Look at your sales now and add about 20% for the glass front.  If you don't have cashless currently, spring for that as well and add another 15% in sales.  Figure a service trip for every 6 to 9 cases sold.   With the card reader you will see when it gets needy, and you will also be able to adjust your planogram to get the best space to sales setup.   CAUTION - the large bevmax will not fit thru a standard single door; if anyone here knows a way to do it short of knocking down a wall please share!!

If a BevMax is doing well enough to have to be filled from front to back at least once a week, if not more often, no matter what you're selling, then the upgrade will ALWAYS be justified.  Te BevMax is a low maintenance, high capacity (relatively speaking), sales driving workhorse.  If you're worried about filling it more often, don't be!  That's what you want.

The BevMax will fit through any 35" doorway, it's only 32" deep.  You may have to take the door off the doorway though depending on how far it will open.  Many machines won't fit through a doorway with the door still on.  The BevMax 4 is one of the easiest full size soda machines to maneuver through a doorway that has ever been made.  The only one that's easier is a stack vendor on some high-quality wheeled bottle jacks, but I've come across few vendors who owned a set of those.

It's actually 9 cans per row

If you take the door off the hinges and make sure your credit card swipe and bezel don't stick out they will fit. Just moved one in on Monday.
