Where to buy brand new NW 60's and stands?

Hey guys, getting ready to try my hand in the vending business. As far as machines go, I've read that buying used is the way to go. That said, since I am just starting and have literally no experience, I feel like it is a gamble for me to start with used equipment since I am not knowledgable enough to differentiate between a good deal or a crappy machine. Also, I like the idea of spending a little bit extra to start off right and have presentable, functional machines right off the bat.

From what I've been reading, single head gumballs for 25 cents are a manageable and profitable way to enter the industry. It seems like the Northwestern 60's are a good choice, and I'm ready to invest.

Just wondering what you guys think is the best way for me to acquire these machines to begin my endeavor?

Is Oak taking on the extra orders now since NW is awol? Seems to me they could really steal some of NW regulars right about now?  Any word on the current turn around for an order of a  dozen or less Oak Vistas?

I have never bought a NW from NW, I always got them through Sam's Club for $95, that includes tax and shipping. I have a NW price sheet and I am thinking it would cost $110 factory direct from NW. Oak sells re-furbs for $40, a lock is an extra $6, I think. You may find a better deal on the locks on Ebay. Also consider what part of the country you live in for shipping from Vernon, CA for Oaks. A pipe stand is a pipe stand as long as it is tight, if it wobbles walk away. If they are tight, but look like crap no big deal. Do some sanding, put some Rust Arrester on it and shoot it with Black Hammer. They will look just fine.

I heard Oak isn't making machines any more just refurbishing so NW is swamped due to all of the new business from Oak and A&A not making new machines any more. Is this true?

Oak told me 2 years ago that they won't manufacture new unless it is a very large order (north of 1000). Honestly the refurbs are great and the price is right. Lately I have bought from Eagle and have been very happy with their machines. Same price range as the Qak refurbs.
