  1. Hello all, I have been on the forum for almost 3 years now. I have been in vending almost 4 years. I recently just made big life changing move. My girl friend and I just moved from Nebraska all way to gulf coast of Mississippi. I sold my vending business in Nebraska and extra machines quite my job and bought a moving truck and packed up. We are staying with family till we find a place and get on our feet and get know the area. It has been a journey let me tell you but we are both looking forward to getting settled and she is interested in starting another bulk vending business with me. I plan to join military reserves and work and she plans to go back to school. So the vending route will fit great with our schedules. It is a big adjustment the temp difference alone this time of year is 50-70 degree difference then back home. I just thought I would blog to you all and needed make my first blog entry. Hope all had wonderful holidays and wish you all most success in 2013
  2. congrats big guy. That's how I met my girlfriend same way and I feel same way thinking she will be my one.
  3. I assume you just move the dip switches open changer up and should be dip switches. I'm not for sure I like coin co mechs

  4. by any chance do you know how to adjust the value on a dixie narco coin changer.pls thank you

  5. I purchase the boston beans at sam's club. They have 4.5lb bag for around $4.00

  6. Snvend

Where do you purchase Boston Baked Beans?

    Thanks, Anton

  7. watch food network Kid in New York City has one. Sells 5,000 some products every 5- 10 mins. Has full time cook making sandwhiches in back. Open 24 hour a day. Might be able look it up.
  8. we have an old pick up with lift gate. depending on how many machines were moving. We might load the pallet jack. Or we use 4 wheel cart and piano dollies. with piano dollies if it flat ans smooth one guy pull machine around.
  9. about once a year I buy 6-8 pizzas put them in break room for my better accounts
  10. I worked for larger landscape/ lawn company. 50 plus employees. 40 were hispanic. A vendor put in machines right as I left. It was one combo machine. Seem to be doing okie. Sold the most at 630am when guys want pop wake them up. And pastery for breakfast. The few came back for lunch got pop during day. And in winter my guess snacks sold out when guys work 24/7 he had showers and camper with beds for guys nap. So in winter they might live off that machine. If pick up cheap cheap cheap small coffee machine for winter months you make killing. It don't hurt to try. Just try things and see how go always move them later. Best of luck
  11. I just put machine in account with about 75% and all mentioned where gone in a day and half. full rows of lays, cheetos, famous amos cookies, sunchips, nacho doritos, and grandma's raisin cookies. All sold out. I need to try get more spicy foods in there I know sell more.
  12. I started in Dec 2009 Bought 10 4head bulk machines then sold 3 of them for full return on ten I purchased. I saved up and then bought a soda & snack location for $1200 in May. He was moving and threw in box dozen coin mechs and old pepsi machine just needed one part. That be paid for next month. Just got new account has 5 machines. Had pepsi machine. Then found another can machine on CL and found vendor that selling his old equipment. Bought snack & coffee for $1700 And third party Dr.Pepper glass front bottle. I will have everything paid for within 6 months and then plan expand my bulk route and look into routes to buy.
  13. Yes it is all about service. That's how I gained my new account. Driver wasn't friendly and cut corners and machine kept breaking. And manager never had his favorite pop in machine. I'm a rookie and this account was 2 months in the working. 60 employees 2 buildings 5 machines. I have never seen a coffee machine until 2 months ago. I found guy in town selling used machines. And had repair man program for me. Well moved it in and SURPRISE.... All the timing was off. Dad & myself work other jobs. Business opens early so 2 days this week we were up @ 4am there by 5 making sure coffee was working testing it and handing out free cups we test. They asked if I was owner and I be servicing the machines. It is all about open honest communication. Most people I have done business with are very understanding. So I think Open Communication is the key.
  14. Sams does have bottles and I would look online if not in store they order for you in a day or two. Hope That helps good luck. How is location doing what kinda numbers?
