  1. I like the concept also but my main concern is I dont want to put card readers on all my machines just to have an inventory management tool.
  2. Thanks for contacting me. You can send $56.00 thru Paypal (includes shipping) to robertjthomason@gmail.com and I will get the book and cd out to you asap.

    Thank you for your business,

    Robert

  3. Hello, I'm new here and was referred to you from another member. I was informed that you sell a book that has alot of info. Could you please tell me how to get the book.

    Thanks,

    Robert

  4. Why not just do one that caters to your company needs? I would keep it fairly simple and around 10 questions at the most. You can either do a scale of 1 thru 5 or a yes no answer, then give them a place for comments.
  5. I would not invest to much in a machine going in a bar location. I am not sure a bar would do enough volume make it worth the investment. CL is the way to go but if you dont know how to fix things yourself then a dealer is a better option.
  6. Tuffronts has great fronts for machines. I prefer Crane National if you are buying new. Depending on the size of account would determin if I would buy new or used. I look at my ROI on any account to determin what I invest in equipment. Look in the refurb section of the post I did about a couple machines I refurbished that was bought cheap off CL.
  7. I thought the best quote was "It went over like a turd in a punch bowl". LOL As hard as people try you are never going to win the healthy snack debate with customers. I really go into details about healthy vending and what it truly means. Best approach is not allow your customer to set unrealistic goals for healthy vending. If a customer tries to say they want at least 30 to 50% items to be healthy I explain it is not a realistic goal. I offer to start with 6 to 10 items at the most and say I will expand the line if it is selling. I tell them if it is selling I dont have a problem with stocking it. If it starts to go to waste I collect it for 30 days in the bottom of the snack machine then go to them and dump it out and show them the waste. This makes a visual impact that they understand better. However, you had better post some sort of request menu or suggestions menu along with it so they cant say "you are not stocking what we want". I explain to them unless you are going to go as far as no outside food then people are going to eat what they want. The employeer has to have a wellness program that they push to educate people and encourage them to eat healthy.
  8. Interesting read about healthy vending.... http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/article/111086/the-great-banana-challenge?mod=family-kids_parents
  9. It is for a table tennis club (aka ping pong) I am involved with. So the market is right for $1.00 ping pong balls. I am not looking at getting into bulk vending but just looking for an option for our club to have balls available but secure for purchase. Thanks for all the help guys!!!
  10. Thanks, I will look into that....
  11. I would prefer to just dump them in and not use capsules. So which is the best option. If I were wanting to find a used machine what would I need to look for when buying? Thanks for all the help guys because I dont have a clue about bulk vending at all.....
  12. What machine would vend 40mm ping pong balls? It would need to be fairly cheap and vend at $1.00 price. Thanks for the help.
  13. Mission has said it best but I will add the following. Besides being on top of your service, the main thing is to go out of your way to make sure the contact person at the account is satisfied. I usually drop off a little goody (candy bar, new product I am trying, etc) by their office every so offten. Also depending on the size of account, I give something at Christmas like Mission said. You are not going to satisfy everyone at the account but make sure the contact person sees your efforts of good service.
