Well today was a bust, i barely could even leave the house, but i have thought of a way i am going to do this. Tommorrow i am going to try to visit one store and try to convince the owner to let me put my machine there.

Finding time is also tough for me. Some thing to think about, managers/owners are normally busy catching up on paperwork Monday mornings. Fridays are paydays so stores are busy so less likely to get face time. First thing in the mornings, again paperwork for a lot of them, and late in the evening they just want to get whatever they need done before closing so less likely to get to pitch. So try and find time to go during sweet spot times like 10-3 M-T, my opinion anyway. If you can't, go when you can go, but if you can always better to up your odds.

Never just pitch one location, plan for 3 or more location to hit in a day...hitting just one can be a big morale buster.. Takes me a location or two... To warm up... My best time to locate is 9 to 11 and 2 to 4...... 11-2 is lunch and after 4 the ower is already gone, or on the way out for the day.... Tues- Thru..... Are prime days.... Help to have a nice folder with pictures has sealed the deal mainy times

I have been an in person locator since 10/89....Taking pictures in does not work and is not an effective approach in securing locations. I demonstrate with the actual machine as part of my presentation. The merchants make their decision on actually seeing the equipment you have. I can comfortably locate approximately 5 machines an hour with this approach and a personable short presentation. Why not let a professional do the job ?

Just curious how it's going for you? I think getting comfortable doing sales is the hardest part. Some of us might be service oriented but not sales oriented.
