Well I bit the bullet and dove in head first. After doing enough reading and looking around, I felt comfortable enough to go ahead and make a purchase. Ended up buying 50 used vendstars for $1200. Not in brand new condition or anything, but they will do for now. I work full time in the army, so this will most likely just be a weekend hobby. I plan on attempting to get 40 of the machines located in decent places as my first priority. After that, from the revenue the machines are making I will reassess the plan, but I imagine I will then try to upgrade all my machines to nicer quality triple heads. Guess time will tell!

Things I have learned so far from this purchase:

-You can fit alot of stuff into a small space if it is organized enough.
-cleaning 50 different machines takes alot longer than one would think.
-4 year old stickers and candy labels on machines will NOT come off without a fight.
-Nail polish remover is the bane of the sticky mess left over from the stickers.
-Vendstar lock mechanisms are crap. Even at $25 a machine.

Thats about it for now.Just ordered a case of runts from quill, and will pick up the rest of my product from Sams tomorrow. This next weekend I plan on spending all weekend doing some self locating.
