CajunCandy 890 Posted February 23, 2014 Looks like my trailer which I've been owning for 13 years, what I did was put some 3/4" treated plywood on floor to make it smoother and much easier to roll my vending dolly on. I use some 2 x 12 treated boards six feet long with some aluminum folding ramps I got from harbor freight and my three hundred pound brother to help load cold drink machines standing up, if I'm not going to far. arkhusker 79 Posted February 23, 2014 My deck is treated pine. It's pretty smooth. I had them add the steel to the gate because I am constantly hauling pallets of drinks or water racks and those ramps wouldn't hold up. It's heavy to lift but I can do it without any trouble. I always haul machines upright and strap them down with 3" wide DOT ratchet straps even if I were just going across the street. Link to comment
CajunCandy 890 Posted February 23, 2014 I have some 2 1/2 wide straps off containers we get from China, I double strap my machines, even snack machines for safeties sake! They are rated for 5,000 lbs and had no trouble with straps. the majority of my machines is within four miles of my house, closet is two blocks away! Very good location, some days the training center has two hundred people on site. Link to comment
