Toy Double 1

PerformaVending

I have never had so much trouble placing a machine before. This toy setup looks good to my eye, but locations just aren't interested in it. Their loss I suppose. I'll keep pitching this unit until it's placed!

I think it looks awesome!! I agree with the lables. That looks like a nice BB mix, Where did you buy them?

It's a mix of A&A's 27mm BB's, and a lot of leftovers. A lot of the machines I bought had bouncy balls left in them from who knows where, but a bouncy ball is a bouncy ball. The spotted ones are a real favorite.

I don't know about that, I bought a couple cases from S&B this week and I hate them, not a good mix and there a bit smaller.

Really? That's a shame- I hope they didn't cost too much. Mostly solids I assume?

No, just not alot of bright colors and they are smaller than the standard 27mm but they were cheap. 69 bucks for 1728.

How long have you been using the pro-line? Machine

I've owned this setup for exactly a week, and have yet to send it to a location. Locating has become a real chore these days. The machines themselves are mostly plastic, but test vended perfectly through a whole canister of both caps and balls, so I assume it will do alright once it's on location. They look good, if nothing else. I may add my two-cents to the review section when I have something more solid to post there.

I once bought 16 mega-toy doubles. Many of the machines had some leftover product in them. I had enough 2in bouncy balls to fill up a 5-gallon bucket (the orange ones from Home Depot). They were all in good shape. A bath in blue dawn, and they were ready to be be sold again.

Do BB mix's work better than a BB all of the same kind?

Absolutely. You get a lot more repeat customers. Back when my Bouncy Ball globe vendor was at the place I worked at, I watched a kid feed $3.00 in quarters in an attempt to get the ball he wanted.

I think a good mix is very important.

I own the exact same set up shown on pic. The LYPC Pro has worked fine for me. Had one jammed coin but was easily fixed. Ive had them for 5 months now. Although the pros is a lot of plastic the machines are not that bad looking. I am still a rookie and looking for new locations. I definately want to try northwestern or beaver next.
