  2. End of the week count how much money you collected, and how many bags of candy you bought, and what they cost. This is all you need to know. To keep up with loss, (example a box holds 100 Mints cost $7.00 should collect $33.00.) What is the lowest profit your willing to make on this location?

  3. Sounds like you are doing mints, 3 for $1.00. I weigh mine. I set my scale to grams and weighed mine and made a chart, 1 to 100. I weigh to fill and weigh when I pick them up to see whats left. Grams break it down to smaller increments than ounces.

  4. Hi! I have some information to add for Full Line Vending Regulations for TEXAS. The web site for the Texas Comptroller is http://www.window.state.tx.us/ We called our local comptroller office and were given some information, but after further investigation, the information was incorrect since we are vending only snacks and sodas. The phone number for the Texas Comptroller Vending Machine specialists is 1-800-252-1385. They were able to give us more accurate information. Basically, we DO NOT need a General Business License for snack and sodas. We just need our Sales Tax Permit AP-201. This one phone call saved us $200.00 in unnecessary licenses. If you are running amusement machines, you will need a General Business License and some additional permits and such. Here is a link with some info you will need. http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/taxpubs/tx96_256.html I am sorry that I don't have information for bulk vending in Texas, but maybe this will provide a starting point for where to look. -Mrs. Team S
