  1. Also Edison High School on YouTube has some outstanding videos
  2. There are free online hvac training courses available online
  3. Go to a community college and get at least a semester of hvac. You’ll get a great understanding of it.
  4. If you put an inone kit in, you have to set prices for cash and credit card. It’s in the pricing menu under configuration. When you are in the pricing menu you will see where you scroll through setting prices for single item, row or machine, then the menu will repeat again for dual pricing.
  5. Correct. Wasn’t thinking about it that way. This problem would probably be limited to non- food machines. However, there are a lot of that type of vending.
  6. How would they empty the machine without many multiple uses of the card? I don’t know of any readers that allow for more than two times the highest-priced item in the machine. I can’t imagine a chargeback on 50-plus card swipes in a row unless the card was reported stolen. Even at that there would be a limit to the number of successive transactions that would occur before the processor halted approvals.
  7. When is this? VHS and cassette tapes? Is this for real?
  8. I used Parlevel readers, but honestly, I’ve had ePort and Nayax on machines with the inone kits and never an issue. I did take the machines and reconfigure the shelves from the two junked machines to make them the way I wanted. So I have two snack shelves, one pastry shelf and two candy/cracker shelves on the machines in service.
  9. The inone kit is fine with this machine. I put kits in two of these machines. They have been on location problem-free for three years. I had bought four of the 3076 machines for $200/each. Refurbished two and gutted the other two.
  10. I have a 721 with same problem. Put Nayax reader on. Cash only but did DEX. Put latest eprom in and no change. I’m pulling the machine in favor of a BevMax and will try other readers once it’s back in the warehouse.
  11. Yes. I upgraded a few with in one kits. I have two or three in the field. Sold one and junked a few that were too far gone and not worth refurbishing.
  12. I have a LCM combo that had a card reader on it. It worked fine. I later put an inone in it for DEX purposes and it’s even better.
  13. Inone says it’s a timing issue with the motors in the drink machine vs the snack machine. The vendor in the video may have put the inone in his 3100 series machine but will discover the drink satellite will not function properly.
  14. Needing to replace the clear selection buttons on some Royal 650s. Are they the same as those on the Dixie Narco 501, 276? They look interchangeable. Also, anyone have any luck refurbishing the old ones or is it just not worth it. Best place to get new ones? Prices are all over the place.
  15. Looking for a control board. Or more than one for this machine.
  16. I didn’t articulate. I’m aware that USI is not affiliated with Polyvend. I meant as an example that some USI machines are known by more than one model name. My reason for asking is that InOne is making kits for some Polyvend machines. I had an R32 board repaired last year by a firm in Florida so no problem getting boards repaired, I was just hoping the available upgrade kits would work on this model.
  17. Would anyone happen to know if a Polyvend R32 has any different model numbers associated with it? Are the Series 4000, 5000, and 6000 machines any different? I know USI will reference the same machines under two different model numbers. Any help is appreciated. Thx.
  18. No. Most coin mechs here are able to accept US and Canadian with switch or program setting and some validators as well. But with other currencies the manufacturer will have programmed it for the market it is sold in. I would check online to see if you can find them or call a manufacturer to get one.
  19. Yes, Amazon is on national contracts, you have to be partnered up with the company holding the contract first. Not an easy thing to do. I get hotels that way but much of that juicy stuff is done that way.
  20. For one thing, it’s the bill validator and coin mech that are programmed to accept whatever currency it is so you would need to find those to accept BSD. Second, that’s pretty pricey for a combo setup like that. I’ve seen them for 1,000 and less.
  21. If you have a restaurant depot near you they generally sell Aquafina or similar by the case. Otherwise you can get an account with a vending distributor or, as was said, purchase from a local vending company.
  22. I would try going into service mode and clearing the errors. It seems that once there is an interruption in the normal operation of a drink vend motor, the registered error prevents normal operation again until cleared. I’ve seen it with other Seaga machines.
  23. Have you considered vinyl wrap? Much easier in my opinion. Can get black from NBS. The black is the same mil as the Pepsi/Coke decals. Ive also used Rustoleum paint/primer gloss and it works well.
