I just bought a bunch of used Oak Vistas for about $25 each with shipping. Lots of parts but I realized that they are going to need a lot of loving care. And I'm picky about what kind of machines candy/gum go in because my rule is "If I wouldn't eat out of it, I'm not putting food in there." With the paint and replacement parts (for the stuff that is really, really bad) I'm guessing that the machines will end up costing me $35 each.
This will be my last used buy. They will work but I'm probably too picky. And the good machines I've found cost the same as new. I love Hillbilly's machines (actually inspired me to pick up these Oaks). But I think I'll admire from the sidelines.
