  1. Oak, Eagle, Beaver, NW, and A/A are in for the long haul, tried and true. Places were my toys are all now 50 cents I've noticed people are now buying more of the Skittles which are still 25 cents. So I believe it does make a difference at this point in people's mindset.
  2. Get some good high quality used machines such as Oak, Eagle. This is not a get rich with loads of cash business especially in today's world of cashless systems. Do you realistically think people will buy candy at 50 cents? Do your research using this forum.
  3. I don't see customers willing to pay 50 cent for the same amount of product esp in regards to candy. One of my laundry mats has a struggle paying 50 cents for toys but not stickers. The toys blew out at 25 cents. Does Oak even have a 50cent mech for 1.1 inch products/candy/gb machine? Can't recall ever seeing one. All my toy locations are Eagle or NW.
  4. I had some a while back and switched them out for AA doubles. Locations didn't justify 4 candy selections. Sold for $50 each to get rid of. If I remember correctly all the weight of the candy pushes against the candy dispenser parts and limits good portion control due to the poor design. I would not get again. You can get a GB cannister setup but it would not vend caps.
  5. Any update? No one answers or returns calls. Is oak leaf or zed softer for any of you who have ran both? I've no experience with Zed. Got some locations spoiled with Ford who say oak is to hard. Told them Ford not option right now.
  6. I have noticed in Eagles that I run 850ct with GB wheel, 2 spring brush housing, and riser; Eagle is prone to dispense 2 GB at intervals which adds up in cost. I never see misvends. The wheel is correctly aligned. My understanding is that this is the correct setup for single vends. Solution to consistent single GB vends? Baffle? It'd probably vend 3 1080s with my luck.
  7. How is their shipping cost? I can get Oakleaf gumballs currently from a retailer cheaper than I can Ford gumballs shipped from Ford in regards to shipping cost. Which I have yet to figure out. That's same count and same number boxes and at least the or greater shipping distance.
  8. Thoughts on length of time bulk vending as a side gig with established route could be worth it (5 yrs, 10 etc.)? I have doubled my service cycle length last two route runs since places opened up again and at that interval am able to pull preCovid amounts in most locations. So still making something for now.
  9. I recently placed an order for cry baby tears and couple other hard candies with candy machines.com. The price on the cry babies was huge difference from AA. Same count. Other candies were bit cheaper also. My first time ordering as was using TJKing (dt best shipping costs). You may want to check their price on bonz, never used those so not sure on price comparison. Order came quickly and in good condition.
  10. VendUSA: what gum brand and count did the guy use?
  11. Thanks for all the info. Believe Im going to give it a try.
  12. What gumball size goes with 2 gumballs for a quarter? Was informed some Oak Vistas I am considering getting have this setup. Sure this needs to be changed to one GB per vend to be profitable, but interested in knowing what size these would be and also what the wheel setup is compared to the standard 1/vend. Have not seen thus far. Tks
  13. Thanks guys. I was thinking $75
