  1. I don’t know how the average person is making ends meet much less buying energy drinks and iced coffees. The news lies about true inflation. Everything is 25% more expensive. MINIMUM 25% some things much more. I just don’t know how they have been able to keep this house of cards propped up.
  2. Your not out of line at all on 1.75 for candy and pastry. Not with today's prices. Why would someone vend it for any less unless it was off brand or generic.
  3. An InOne board in that AP 7600 would help with the display. At the very least make sure the light bulb is good otherwise it appears as the machine is not on.
  4. Buy the AP snack. Come see me for a couple beverage machines. I have V720 and 501E have a few snack machines as wellto sell but not as nice as that AP. I'm less than 2 hours away from you so bring a trailer!
  5. All I can tell you is my local Coke bottler started deploying them awhile back. Most of the time I see that they are not working and the display says cash only.
  6. Unless your gross sales numbers are at least 20%-30% above what they were in 2019 then your making less money than you were 3 years ago. This is based on product alone not to mention all the other costs involved (gasoline, tires, rent, parts, etc.) I feel I am less profitable even after raising vend prices. A lot of uncertainties are ahead of us for sure.
  7. So now my daily report came in and it shows everything from the week. It's got several pending and several card transactions where they don't show the two-tier dime charge. Hopefully everything with the charges are correct when it's time for Monday's payout.
  8. A full week later and still no daily reports.
  9. Order a new board kit from InOne technologies. Buy a Mars MDB bill acceptor and coin mech. Yeah probably $650-$750 in parts but not hard to upgrade. You can do it all on location with basic hand tools. At the end of the day you will have more money tied up in this machine than its worth but your lesson will be learned.
  10. Not sure how to delete this post but I found my answer. Old Bev Max
  11. I have a couple New old Stock selection Keypads that I have no idea what they go to. (Likely these are for an old obsolete machine) I have the VE part number 10631 but still cannot find any info. They are 18 button with a 10 pin connector coming out the side. These are of no use to me but could be a lifesaver to the right guy.
  12. Dip switch #4 on the control board must be turned on (down) for drop sensors.
  13. It’s been on there this long and still works perfect so I would be willing to roll with it. No pun intended. Has anyone tried buying an older asset from Canteen in a situation like this? It may be out of the question.
  14. I got a call to take over an account that Canteen services yesterday. They are running what I assumed to be just a standard 158 but it had the most unique delivery port I have ever seen. Instead of a flap it was a pull down where it “rolled” the product out. Pretty cool but probably pretty rare. Anyone ever seen one like this? I am considering calling them and asking if they want to sell the asset rather than remove it. Not sure about that bin tho .
  15. I know USAT has a chip insert bezel available I’m just not sure why they have not made it standard in the kit. It’s an “upgrade” with a premium price.
  16. Why would these openings be made different? Is there a reason?
  17. Another option: Put your bill acceptor on the bottom and drill holes for the reader in the top plate.
  18. We’re right there with some days more some less but we never hit 2k that’s outstanding! For us it’s all on scheduled route visits tho with the rolling warehouse. We have the card readers but don’t mess with the data. I’m just so used to doing it this way I’m not sure I could ever adapt to the advantages the telemetry can do.
  19. I think every stop is somewhat different than the next. Some people will buy 2 cans to 1 bottle while others will buy just 1 regardless of cost/size etc. Some prefer bottles some prefer cans. Just as soon as you get it dialed in with flavors/sizes and frequency it will change.
  20. We buy the cans from the bottlers. Pepsi is a little cheaper here than Coke. It’s a bit higher than buying them on sale prices at the store. It’s just so much more convenient to have it brought in. Retail grocery prices here have crept up to $8-$10 a case when not on sale. I see 12 packs for $5-$6 when not on sale. I think we are $9 a case delivered from the bottler. When it comes to pricing it for vend .75 seems not profitable enough and a dollar seems too high but anything in between really doesn’t make sense. Lol Even tho .75 would be doubling the cost the penny profit generated kind of sucks when looking at the costs of everything associated with business besides the product. Fuel, wages, etc.
  21. Margins on cans are just not good. I think selling a can for $1 is too high but that's really where they need to be and where we took ours. 20 oz is $1.75
  22. I installed one of these earlier this year on a Crane 158. It had been working fine up until now. Anyone here have any experience with this POS?
  23. IMO if your going to spend that kind of money go ahead and spend a little more for the Curve door. I have a few and not hard to install on location but it is time consuming( couple hours). AP was quicker to do than Crane. InOne technologies makes a door that I like better tho.
  24. In my opinion first in first out for food. No way would I ever want the wheel. The AP320 was nice when it worked but expensive when things went wrong. The refrigeration deck was super heavy and took 2 people to carry it. I'm completely out of food altogether now and don't have an account mandating it so I get by without it. I would consider buying one if it made sense. It would be nice if you could use existing 721 parts but I doubt any of the parts could be transferred other than maybe a display screen.
