Golfdogs
I've got a TRC 6000 in a National 145. It will not escrow the coins. Every service, the quarter tube needs to be refilled. I switched it out with another TRC6000 that had just come back from service...same thing. Suggestions?
AZVendor
Check and see if you have "low quarters" switched on in your coin mechs. This could be coincidentally set in both mechs.

AZVendor
You might then have a logic board problem or a coin mech harness issue because it sounds more like the machine doesn't see the tube sensors correctly. There isn't any programming in the machine that dictates which coins are inventoried. This is an odd issue so try the coin mechs in other machines first to make sure it isn't a problem with the mechs themselves. If it isn't then you should replace the logic board. rmorris1953
If you can put a dollar in and they can push the coin return and get 4 quarters the vendor is set up as a change machine. The 6000 is a dumb mech which means its functions are independent of the control board. Only the coin mech decides where the change goes. Make sure the bill isn't being stacked. It should hold it and when pushing coin return only the bill is returned. If the bill is returned then you still have a defective coin mech. Golfdogs
Problem seems to be solved with a 9300-L. All three tubes are still full and would normally need to be filled.
WhiteRoom
If it wasn't back to back bad coin mechs, maybe you have a low voltage issue that the 9300L is better at dealing with than the TRC6000s?
