Robcamaro Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Anyone familiar with Vendo 480's? When I tighten the T-handle to much it hits the first motor and sometimes stops that selection from working. Is the inner door seal bad maybe? Also is there supposed to be another seal attached to the cabinet itself? it looks like there used to be something there. I see what appears to be old glue. AZVendor Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Even if the door seals are missing you should never be able to contact a motor by tightening the door. The inner door is what would be making the contact and the contact should be with the motor cover which would in turn be touching the motor. If this is happening then you might have a warped inner door or a bent hinge on the inner door allowing it to become too close to the motor cover. Also check that the T-handle nut bracket isn't set too deep into the cabinet. The factory holes only allow up and down movement but check to see if someone has mounted it behind the factory holes.
