Candyguy
Hi guys, I want to start my gumball vending business soon. I want to form an llc before I get started. Should I have a local accountant set up the llc or should I just use legal zoom?
AMD Snacks
This is a late reply, so you probably already made your choice. But I have to say I used legalzoom to form my S-corp....Regret it big time. They overcharge and just don't provide good support. I went to accountants.com and found a really great reasonable accountant who is helpful and less than 1/4 the price.
The Mage
It looks like a Single Member LLC (SMLLC) may have a few issues, and may not provide the protection of a multi member LLC. But apparently laws in Wyoming, and Nevada protect the SMLLC similar to a multi-member, so it may be of benefit to form an LLC in those States. BTW I am not a Lawyer, so don't take legal advice from me. http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/single-member-llcs.html https://www.sba.gov/content/limited-liability-company-llc
