CC talk or MDB - which is more popular?

Apparently ccTalk is another (bastardized) protocol that is MDB based, brought to you by the folks at ...drumroll please... Crane Payment Systems.

@mawg Here in the US we don't use ccTalk for vending, only MDB, so I guess that it is a geographical thing.

Most equipment and payment systems here in the US are MDB so use that if you are US based.

Neither here in North-Europe. No developer I have been in touch with practices the CCtalk-protocol

In the US CC Talk is very rare.

CC Talk is not new I have seen it in 20 year old Wanzel brand airport luggage cart machines.

Wanzel is a German company. The CC Talk coin acceptor in the Wanzel machine was made by munzprufer another German company.  

The bill acceptor in the Wanzel machine was made by JCM a Japanese company running on CC Talk.

I find CCtalk interface in the Nayex manual and that is an Israeli company.
