lionvending
The machine I just bought has an MDB Coinco changer. I have never used this style of changer before. How do I set the price on it?
QuikVend
What kind of machine is it in? Looks like you'll be setting the price through it, not the mech.
lacanteen
Machines with computer boards usually establish pricing in the programming. We need manufacturer and model of the machine to be of any help.
lionvending
It is a Dixie Narco 276E.
lacanteen
There should be a decal on the inner door, the full manual is here: http://vendiscuss.net/index.php?/files/file/116-dixie-narco-s2d-programming-2-button-pepsigeneric/ Press the mode button 1 time to display "HD" Press buttons 1&2 at the same time until you see "SP" If the whole machine is to be 1 price, push button 1 and hold, the current price will appear and start scrolling up or down. To change the direction, release the button for a second, then hold again. When it gets to your price let go of the button. To lock in the whole machine at that price press and hold buttons 3 & 4 for 10 seconds. To set other buttons to a different price, use the above procedure for that button but don't press & hold 3&4. Each button can have it's own price.
lionvending
This may be a silly question, but where is the controller located? This is my first MDB machine.

CajunCandy
It could be that box right above the dba, with all the wires going to it. Press the blue button after pulling out the door switch.
AZVendor
No no no no. DO NOT pull the door switch out if you want to enter the service mode and programming. Just open the door and the switch plunger will release and THEN you press the mode button. Only pull out the door switch if you want to simulate being in the vend mode while the door is open for testing purposes. Mike, too much beer already? Southeast Treats
You don't need to pull the metal cover, the service mode button is along the bottom. Push the button one time and use the front LCD display and the selection buttons. There should be a cheat sheet posted on the inner door, or pull down the manual from the link that LACanteen posted. Good luck!
lionvending
Thank you for your help! I found the button. When I pushed it, the display is rotating through JC-1, 2, and 6. I don't see this on the programming instructions....any ideas?
AZVendor
JC is Jammed Column 1, 2 and 6. In your case it's probably bad switches that the board doesn't see and assumes the column is stuck. This is as long as nothing is stuck in your columns.
