An alternate point of view:

I'm a part time vendor - I do service runs only about twice a month, since 2012.  I've been using the scale below ($30) and it still calibrates perfectly.

No I don't think it's nearly as good as the Acucount nor do often disagree with the pros, but I think it's important to present an alternate option for part timers or new vendors reading this forum.  If your business is too small to afford the best, I think something like the one I use above is reasonable.

I can corroborate that My Weight makes excellent scales, I have 2 of their digital pocket scales that I like a lot. There are a few quarters out there that you can only confirm as silver by weight. I have used the pocket scales for that.

I would suggest buying from:  https://www.oldwillknottscales.com/buy-my-weigh-scales.html.  They have outstanding customer service, calibration weights and a knowledgeable person on the phone to answer any scale questions you might have when you call them.

I just bought the mini 400, it is so easy. You can stick it right in your back pocket. For onside weighs it is the foshizzle.

That's what we started with too. It didn't take me long to figure out it wasn't a long term solution.

Definitely not a long term solution.   I'll probably get one soon.
