zjtaylor
Some old posts I found in the forum suggest that tab gum doesn't sell too well. Anyone selling this stuff? I'm thinking of trying polar mint. Is it a waste of time?

Coal River Vending
Maybe a gumball for the kids and tab for the big kids. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

QuikVend
Polar mint doesn't really sell too well for me. The tropical fruit does decent though. Best spots are a jcpenny break room and a small electronic repair shop.
Determined
My competitors sell a lot of it around here.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk See I was thinking that too but it seems like gumballs are appealing to both adults and kids around here and I'm worried that tab gum won't appeal to kids so I'll lose out. 1 hour ago, Determined said: My competitors sell a lot of it around here. Do you see it at any specific locations vs gumballs? I don't see tabs anywhere around here. Which I'm thinking is a bad sign.
Mary
Polar mint did horrible. I have had the best luck with just plain chicklets.

parrotthead
I used to always buy a gumball wherever I saw a machine and I had a quarter. Me starting in the vending business really ruined a good customer for you guys

I work at a place that employs 1,000 people. They offer 8 selections. The tab gum and small candies like runts, tangy bites, etc. always sell out before the gumballs. They sell gumballs 2 for .25 and .10.
Zigzag Vending
It sounds silly to some, but i dont thonk people want to buy that much gum sometimes. I still see a few Ford dime slide chicle machines doing well in my area. But 25 cents for 10-12? Thats enough to share, but almost too much for one person.
