AngryChris Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 I am working on a few machines in my garage and I noticed that the vendo 720 that has been sitting in the back of my garage for years.... the plug was fairly warm when I unplugged it from the extension cord, as was the extension cord plug. I immediately figured that the machine was drawing extra current when it shouldn't be. I don't know why it would be so warm though. The best I could figure was that there was something wrong with my extension cord plug, the machine plug, or the compressor is drawing too much current. The plug going into the outlet was not warm. Any ideas/suggestions? I don't recall this happening on other machines that were plugged in and cooling. The machine WAS cooling. Could it be the plug/cord itself?
