Kinch
So I'm at my new charity, St Vincent de Paul. My wife volunteers there and my parish runs it so it's on the up and up. Anyway, they have a used Oak single with no lock that they sell me for $25. I think I ordered the right lock on ebay. So what kind of wheel is this? I'm new to this vending thing, only have 7 machines so far, but this wheel is obviously not for my 850 count gumballs. Thanks. https://www.flickr.com/gp/149582526@N03/23wi06 https://www.flickr.com/gp/149582526@N03/25ocz1 https://www.flickr.com/gp/149582526@N03/5v52Pi
Kinch
And while we're at it, she offered me this for $75. I didn't know what it was and I thought that was too much so I turned her down. Anyone identify it? Thanks
QuikVend
If you get a riser for the oak, it will vend a single 1" gb. As for the other machine, good call on avoiding it. Can't recall the company name, but the machine isn't reliable. It has a nice stand though, so if she drops the price enough is worth buying for that. $25-30 tops. Kinch
Thanks very much for the reply. Would you mind describing this riser you mentioned and tell me where to get one? BTW, what is this machine set up for now? Thanks
Kinch
Is this what you're talking about? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oak-Manufacturing-gumball-machine-riser-plate/122304102066?_trksid=p2385738.c100677.m4598&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908110712%26meid%3D53729bbdb3e940f087651bfe2e097819%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D13%26sd%3D222365389937
QuikVend
Yea, that's it. That wheel without the riser will dispense 1" capsules I believe.
Zigzag Vending
Yeah, although being only a year in this business myself ive never seen a curly wire guard like that. Normally its two springs across the same area. If thatll vend 850 with the riser, and yeah youre link is correct thats what you would need, normally without the riser they vend 1.1" acorn capsules or slightly larger gumballs than 850 cts. musser
The wire was replaced several years ago with the springs. But it is a genuine Oak part
