Snack Loading Advice

Recommended Posts

I try to load every machine to the bottom of the tray.   Aside from being the way most machines are designed, I think it looks better to the customer.  If something is so thin it is in danger of falling out, I will sometimes locate a product pusher on the spiral to help hold it in.

Always load items on the shelf and take a little extra time to make sure that all items are loaded in a manner that the presentation is appealing. We need to always remember that in many cases we randomly buy things because of the appeal at the moment and not because we went into the store for that item and our customers are the same way . Always put yourself in your customers shoes , stand back and look at the machines from their perspective.

I put all my chips/snacks on the top 2 or 3 rows. Sometimes I price the 3rd row slightly higher than the top 2 rows for certain products. Then my candy. On the bottom row, I have my honey buns/danish/cookies which are typically priced the same as the candy
