AZVendor
Not unless you have a ver 5.11 logic board.
Sgolembiewski0903
Its. Got a merlin 3 rev, a guy from Vendtronics just told me his chart said it was compatible.... Does that make sense based on what u just said?Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
AZVendor
Again, it depends on your eprom version number. Only version 5.11 was MDB compatible and it requires a new harness. I think I have a harness for it if you have the correct board version.

The deal ended up falling through, she only wanted $125 for it, fully-working. Pretty good deal... just don't have a location for it!
Sgolembiewski0903
Is there a way I can tell what type of logic board a machine has, or it's eprom version number?
AZVendor
When you first power up the machine the screen will display the version number or you can remove the logic board cover and look at the label on the eprom.
AngryChris
I usually just take the cover off. It's probably one of the easiest things you can do in any machine.
Sgolembiewski0903
Noob question, what is an eprom? I was able to take of the cover on the machine mentioned earlier and saw Merlin 3 Rev.... Don't know what an eprom is... in fact... I absolutely don't know anything about the boards...
AngryChris
It's a small chip with software on it. It's almost always black and about the size of a thin lego. Yours should say something like 5.06, 5.10, 5.11, etc....
