  1. Can't figure out how to load cans in v540

  2. I also sell Monster for $2 in my CB 700 and I do pretty good. In my opinion, I think Red Bull is overpriced anyway.
  3. the machine that you have in the pic off of craigslist suck...........i bought one and the money was hard to get out if it...........also the locks suck as well and are overall bad quality.............i would get some 1 800's instead if i were you
  4. "No waking up with a case of the Monday's!!!" haha i love that love it from office space when the guy is saying "somebody has the case of the Mondays"
  5. For me, knowing that this is what I want to do fort the first time in my life is good enough for me. i am 26 and i have never knew all this time what i wanted to do. having a dad as a doctor and being from pakistan, i have always been pressured to become a doctor or something similar of high status. however, i never cared for this stuff wether becomeing a doctor or an engineer or lawayer e.t.c. its nice to know that finally this occupation is for me. i want to do vending as a full time career. however many machines i need to work full-time is my goal for my future having 4 bulk locations now, i would like 25 by the end of the year having 3 full line, i would say i would like to have maybe 8 by the end of the year i love vending
  6. I have 3 coke 3rd party machines in my area in NC. Their prices are rediculous. I have heard it varies in different areas so it would be important to find out in your area by contacting your local coke distributor. Coke charges me $10/case for cans which is over .40/can. At these prices, I don't even want to know the prices for the bottles.
  7. Yeah, thats just something your going to have to ask him. who knows maybe it could be a good reason. he could be moving, has health problems whatever or it could be a scam for all you know. Has he not given you a reason at all? Whatever the reason is, i would look much further in this sale as it seems like a good deal.
  8. I am no expert but this is my opinion. You should try to find out as much as you can about this route. Your talking about a lot of money here. Obviously the 4500-5000 numbers would be more like gross sales. For 10 machines, thats around 400-500 gross sales/machine. It would be important to somehow makesure these machines are pulling in this much because thats a good amount/machine. Good rule of thumb to go by is to buy a route that would pay for itself in 1 year time of gross sales. Seems like from what I am reading it would. If these numbers are right, I would go for it. But again this only involves 3 locations so its important to find out these numbers for sure. What if somehow 1 location was bad or something in this deal, thats going to cost you a lot. Also I would find out if these locations have contracts and check to see how the locations are and all that stuff.
  9. You can buy gatorade, vitamin water e.t.c from whole sales distributors. I buy them from Sam's Club. You can buy 24 packs of gatorade and such. I prefer to vend cans if possible instead of 20 oz bottles. Cans you can buy from any where and wal-mart has them very cheap.
  10. You guys all make good points...............hillbilly, i forgot how nice it feels when you get a yes to a location when you finally do get one............especially for a soda machine. making the customers happy is always nice.. and yes deffenitly mizugori, its nice to make some extra cash on the side.................that extra side cash has always helped me so much............if i need some money badly, i can just make a trip to a drink machine or two, although i am trying to stay away from this bad habbit haha i also like just being my own boss............i hate being told what to do at work............thats just my nature..............probably because i have worked at so many fast food places in the past where there is so much micromanagment going on. also the more machines you get, its like the more machines you can then buy afterwards............it seems like an exponential business as i guess with most businesses
  11. Man as much as I hate vending at times its the good times that makes me want to keep vending. I have been going through a lot of crazy stuff these days with this business. As I was counting my money though tonight, it made me think this is why I love vending and why I am going to stay in this business for as long as I can. Rolling up all those quarters, counting all the bills, finding a few more spare coins to finish up that last roll all makes me love my job. All that hard work pays off at the end of the night when I'm counting my money. There are a few other thigs I like about vending, but I am sure this is everyones favorite thing. Just would like to get other peoples opinions as to what it is that everyone likes about vending. Especially full-line.
  12. I have tried both..............I have self located and I also used a locator................this is just me but I prefer to use a locator just because I feel like I spend too much time with self-locating............some locators only charge $30 or $40 per machine and I don't mind the price..........i am not very good at self-locating...........i feel like its a hassle..............others on here have said numerous times that self-locating is crucial to this business.............I do agree with this............i would self locate if you know you have a lot of times on your hands or many days of work...........however i like just being able to go into a business knowing that I can just place my machine there.............its very convenient for me try kickstart and give them a shot.............do your research on locators..............however i would not give up on self locating...........i plan on doing self locating my self one day when i get a chance
  13. yes i understand,,,,,,,,,,,,,i am also supposed to be doing the same thing................except my machines are not my machines..............their cokes and even after charging the place another .40 or whatever, i still hardly make anything when its like .45/can from coke...............i can't wait until i have my own machine their
  14. thanks a lot eddie it is true that i probably e-mailed you once for replacements i guess i could have e-mailed you more often as far as for the locations, yes i did say all but 1 went good and that meant being able to actually get the location with no problems as far as for revenues go, i have locations that do $2.5/month i will pull machines out of these locations to put in my new locations i appreciate your fast response and allowing me to get 2 replacements that means a lot to me
  15. it's funny mission vending you mension that about the .25 a can...............yes wow it helps tremendously..............i have a location with 40+ employees with a big coke machine which sells drinks for .25.................these people drink this stuff like its water...............many employees buy drinks multiple times in a day.................my gross sales are rediculous...............i average $50/week at .25...............if priced at .75 a can, then thats $600 gross/month................however for me this stinks because these machines are 3rd party and coke makes me buy cases(24pack) for $10................i hardly make anything................i will be kicking out coke as soon as i can didn't mean to go off topic but any location with .25 drinks is going to do the unimaginable
