    April Earnings

WOW! It looks like you grossed $6 a location on this earnings report. Might be time to move some machines / switch up products. In looking at your past earnings posts it looks like you have been stuck at this place for awhile and have mentioned that you are trying to build up trust and you feel comfortable with these numbers. Is that still the case?

    Wooden 1" and 2" racks

I have a good amount of the interactive sports games from this company. I really like them and they have held up really well. With that said, I am not sure if he manufacturers or sells them anymore. I know a big issue was the cost of shipping as they are pretty heavy. I'll reach out to him and try to get you a response. They are located in Southern California near me so I have had luck buying and picking them up same day. Thanks,

How honest are you about how much goes to charity?

If that's the case they why put all the sad pictures and cover the box with "Charity"

    Machine theft

Its based upon other users as well. My tile has a pretty far range because many individuals in my area have it and the tile "network" utilizes Bluetooth from everyone in the network. I agree @orsd if you are the only one that has it its pretty useless but I was pleasantly surprised.

    Machine theft

Anyone use Tile as a way to track their machines in high risk areas or on expensive equipment? I just picked up one for $20 and its pretty cool.

How honest are you about how much goes to charity?

Hi "The Dragon", Many posts have been done on this exact topic so I don't want to beat a dead horse over this. I just want to clarify that I believe you to be one of the upfront and honest individuals that discloses to his locations that $1 - $2 is the donation each month from their location. Far too often I run into locations where the owner is under the assumption that all proceeds go to the charity and end up unhappy. This is very similar to commission locations that have been cheated. At the end of the day to each their own but as many vendors have mentioned, Charities of course don't care either way. This is a mute point. They know that $1 - $2 is the going rate to pimp their name out to a vendor. Any more than that and they will lose the dollar. We are talking about the location who cares. Its the location who can come to feel jaded. Trust me, I am sure all of us would let you give us a dollar each month per machine and will be totally okay with it. Once again, "The Dragon" this issue really doesn't impact me at all I am just trying to give you insight into how many people see this. With that said, as I stated earlier " I believe you to be one of the upfront and honest individuals that discloses to his locations that $1 - $2 is the donation each month from their location." Good luck!

Anyone out there familiar with nfc tech and spreadsheets?

You can make the excel document password protected that way one would need a code to access it. Might be worth testing to make sure it stays password protected when accessed from a device. Good luck!

Anyone out there familiar with nfc tech and spreadsheets?

I believe a QR code could be scanned by the employee at each location which would allow them to pull up the spread sheet and update it. This could include a time stamp and gps coordinates for the location. I wish I had working experience to help you but none the less this is a very interesting idea and I have to believe someone on this thread is utilizing this technology.

Anyone out there familiar with nfc tech and spreadsheets?

Hey Rodney69, Great question/post/topic! Do you mind sharing a bit more information on what your desired outcome is? Are you looking to basically utilize it to track inventory levels and all other servicing notes or do you have other plans? Thanks,

How honest are you about how much goes to charity?

My personal opinion on why so many people believe Charity machines are a scam is due to how some vendors approach the situation. When you tell a location " This machine is for XYZ charity" versus telling them "A percentage of all proceeds goes to XYZ charity" you really set the locations expectations. When a charity vendor has a website that is all about the charity and says nothing about the core service they will be providing I cant help but understand how many feel like it is a scam. Ultimately we all have our own morals and ethics and while I am grateful for everyone that contributes to charities I completely understand how many see it as a scam. If you use the charity as the main reason for placing the machine rather than just a positive addition to your service and product then you are surely leading the owner to assume all profits are going to the charity.

    Beaver Coin Mech

Hey Guys, Quick question: Does Beaver make different coin mechs for Tokens? I have a Shootin Hoops machine that I want to place in an arcade. The arcade currently uses tokens for all of its games and the token is slightly larger than a quarter and wont fit into the current coin mech. I would love to hear if there is a solution for this or if you can think of another work around for this issue. Thanks,

    Pool Hall Advice

Great idea guys! I'll throw in some gumballs. Any advice as to what I should include in the second head? Is there an item that adults tend to like or that will work well in a bar scene? Thanks,
