  1. Hello, this is probably a simple question, but I posted earlier about a FSI 3172 not cooling, I can't seem to find anyone local who can recharge the freon, it's cheaper to get another machine than it is to replace the cooling deck. Someone can deliver a DN 276, but everything I have is USI, so I am not familiar with DN. I have a spare bill validator and coin mech, will they work in the DN 276? I'm trying to search on the net, some machines say MDB, some search results come up with a MDB adapter, so I am not sure. Other question... can I put the 3172 in my minivan? Dimension-wise it should fit, the only issue I would think is the machine would have to be laid flat first to avoid hitting the van door. Thank you in advance!

  3. Hello, I have a FSI satellite drink machine, it is freezing up (I have pictures if it would help). I replaced the thermostat and that did not solve the problem. The drain is clear, there is plenty of space in the back, everything is clean, door seal looks good to me... So I it could still be a few things from the sound of it, not sure if they are things I can diagnose, low Freon, bad condenser, bad board etc. Is there more troubleshooting I can do? Is it worth having someone come out to try and repair? I really hate to spend a bunch of money, I don't really want to put a full size machine in, really only one drink selection even sells. It would probably be cheaper for me to just give them free soda, but wouldn't be professional. Thoughts? Thank you in advance everyone has been helpful in the past and I appreciate it.
  4. Hello, I have a MEI series 4000 coin changer. Was making a constant clicking sound. Took it apart as much as I could, nothing stuck inside as far as I could tell. Is giving an error “accept gate error” not clicking anymore but now coins go in but do not register. Should I just replace the coin changer? I have a conlux ccm5g, should it just be a direct replacement? Thanks in advance!

Heat output, Wittern 3545 vs 3500?

The room is about 12 X 12 feet. Maybe if I can find the electricity used per day that will give an idea if one will output more heat than another? The internet says the 3545 uses 5.75 kWh/day and is energy star certified. I don't see anything about the 3500.
  6. Hello, I have an account with a Wittern 3545 (combo refrigerated unit). I am having to refill it more than I would like. Space is an issue, I'm thinking I could replace it with a 21 selection snack machine and and a Wittern 3500 drink machine. The room it is in gets pretty hot in the summer because of the vending machine. Does anyone know how switching the machine out would effect the temperature? I don't want to make the room even hotter, Thank you!
  7. It's a Wittern 3500 drink machine, sorry did not know that info was needed. I also have a Wittern 3509 snack machine with a VTI MX-D-D2-USD 42V DC validator, would I be able to take that and put it in the drink machine for the short term? Thanks
  8. Hello, I have a machine with a Conlux 3140 bill validator, it's been giving me trouble and I'd like to replace it. Is there another type of validator that will be more reliable? I see Conico and MEI Mars some say 110V some say 24V, I'm not sure what is compatible, or if some models are better than others, thank you in advance.
  9. 16.9 oz pepsi, dew, diet dew, dr pepper, diet dr pepper, diet pepsi, and so on. They all seem firm. I can take pictures. I am in debt to anyone who can help me.
  10. I apologize, I do not know all of the proper terminology. I had / have 16.9 oz plastic Pepsi type bottles in the rows. I have a picture of one of the stuck bottles, from the bottom if that will help. In one column I tried putting 16 fl oz Monster cans, I replaced the board and motor, everything seems to work fine, when I come back the next day and try to vend, I get nothing. I empty the soda, and the motor will turn, but it sounds like it is straining. If you mean the spacer when they are laid flat that goes horizontal it does not seem too tight to me. Next time I am there I will make sure that is not the issue . I do not think there is a shim there. I appreciate the help, I am beyond frustrated at this pointl
  11. This is just happening in the same two columns. Yesterday I swapped the circuit board and motors. I came back today and one soda was stuck and it wasn't vending, and the other one was not vending, I didn't see anything stuck. Any ideas if it's not the board and not the motors?
  12. Bottles are getting stuck. I'm not sure I know the correct terminology, it's like they have started to fall but then get stuck. I can reach up through the bottom and pull the soda out with a little bit of force. I am not sure how to check for what type of error it's giving, when I try to vend them it will sit there doing nothing for maybe 10 seconds and then a light will come on saying to make another selection. On another selection I didn't see anything stuck, but it did the nothing and choose another selection, I emptied it and then the motor would turn, but it sounded like it was straining.
  13. So I have a Wittern 3500 drink machine. One motor seemed to be struggling, and when I would go to service it there would be a stuck soda. I ordered a new motor and it was doing the same thing, then I noticed another slot was having the same issue. I pulled two used motors from a different machine and I am still having the same issue (they seemed to work fine initially). I am going to call tech support again tomorrow, the first time they thought maybe they sent me a bad motor. I find it difficult to believe a new motor and 2 used ones would be bad. I am probably going to switch the motors around within the machine to try and narrow down the issue, hopefully it's not something where something is killing the motors there, otherwise I'm going to end up with a bunch of bad motors. I have an extra machine in my garage now, should I try switching out the circuit boards? Is there something else I can try? I could try putting the suspect motors in the machine in my garage, but they I don't know if it's an always issue Thanks in advance.
  14. Hello, I was told yesterday to move two machines out of a location ASAP. I am new to this and got the location with the machines already placed, so I have no experience moving them. One is a Wittern 3500 10 selection drink machine, the other a Wittern full size snack machine. There is one doorway, but otherwise it will just be ground floor to ground floor, about 10 miles away. I have one quote at $385 per machine so far, not sure what sort of quote is decent. Not sure if I can rent equipment and do it myself, or buy equipment. I know I've read people using a narrow pallet jack, I don't see any listed locally for sale. I did see a "Taylor Uni-Lift 600 Appliance Furniture Mover Dolly" for sale, it says 800lb capacity, not sure is that would be something I could use. Any help would be greatly appreciated, already a crummy situation, thank you in advance.
  15. I've ran across a USI 3567 refrigerated machine and a USI 3506 snack machine with a 6 selection slave drink machine. I am wondering what a fair price would be for either. Thanks!
