  1. Thanks Lacanteen. I put a triac in but I think I need to put in the new 70amp triac (updated version) . After put in another triac (used) it turned on for like 10 seconds and shuts off. Since the power draw I believe I need a higher amp triac.
  2. Hi all I have 3 of these machines (crane 455). One of them has an issue with the compressor not kicking on. Normally I figured it was a temp sensor issue but I changed both sensors. I replaced the refer deck with a spare which has a brand new compressor. Tommorow I will try changing out both boards and triac in the machine. It wants to turn out but it "coughs and sputters and stops". I'm wondering what it could be.
  3. I have 3 Dn 455 units. They sell lots of products because they are glass fronts. I had some issues with them but know them inside out now. Common issues are: temp sensors going out causing the compressor not to kick on, triac failures, and start components malfunction. If you have to replace the compressor they could be costly since you have to put in the original Tecumseh unit. I tried to put in Copeland compressors but they weren't strong enough and spent the $800 for the Tecumseh. Otherwise I sell lots and lots of ice cream
  4. Hi Community I bought 5 Saeco SG 200. I really only needed 3. The other 2 are for parts. I got 2 working but the 3rd one doesn't dispense a full cup and it has the smallest cup count at 89. I replaced the water pump since I am using a water jug and swaped out the flow meter. I even switched the control board. I even cleaned the brew group. What else is left to do?

  6. Arkhuster U were right. Replaced the picker cup and it works like a charm. Also found the cam was broken in the dispenser. The little black grommet between the dispenser motor and product dispenser. Thnx for the advice and solution.
  7. Thank you arkhuster. Would have never known that. I will let you know how it turns out.
  8. Hi all I just inherited a bevmax 3 machine with a red bevmax 4 controller board The red light and yellow light on the controller board are flashing. When I test vend a selection, the elevator moves up to the selection but doesn't dispense it. The empty cup will just dispense nothing and the machine thinks it dispensed something. The elevator works fine but it doesn't dispense anything. Has to be some sort of sensor. If you guys can guide me in the right direction it would be great. I will post the solution asap so others can learn.
  9. Lacanteen You were right. It was a wiring issue. I bought the machine second hand and thought the machine was wired correctly but it wasn't. I have 2 of these machines but they have different interface boards. The schematics are confusing because of the different interface boards. The relay has 2 red wires that were switched. One wire from the triac was connected to the relay but instead should have been connected directly to the heaters. The power from the triac energizes the heaters. Problem solved. Thanks AZ vendor and lacanteen for the insight. You guys rock!
  10. Triac is wired correctly. I believe some other wire may be loose or a bad connection. A tech is coming to verify. This is the weirdest malfunction. If I get this sorted out I will post the correct procedure so all members can learn.
  11. Lacanteen I've never heard of a defrost safety sensor. What's the part# and what does it look like? If you're taking about the thermodisc, I've changed that. If you are referring to the defrost relay. That's been changed also. If there is such a part, it sounds like the issue.
