  1. Vendo 720P Lock

Yes, its a Vendo.... I think I just added the P to it when I typed it in...
  2. I'm looking for the cabinet lock for a Vendo 720P... The part that attaches inside the cabinet that the T-handle threads into after you close the door. I think I have the right part number (1018649), but want to be sure, as the parts manual says the part number is 1121186 (which no one seems to have). Any info would help...
  3. Having an issue with a Royal 660 merlin iii that a friend owns. It wasnt getting cold and the compressor want coming on. I replaced the thermostat, and the compressor now works. Now the fans under the delivery chute get iced up so bad that they actually stopped the fans from moving (icing makes me believe it's low on freon); however, he never mentioned it icing up prior to me changing the thermostat. Anyone else have any suggestions on what to look at?
  4. Neighborhood pools?

I've had decent luck at pools, but only for the 3 months they were there, but not worth the time and effort of moving them...
  5. $100 for the 276, no more than $200 for the other soda machine (unless it's multiprice, then $275)... dunno about the snack machine as I don't do snacks...
  6. Does anyone else do the tape trick?

Dental picks work wonders on getting the broken ones out...

LOL! I used to pay her with 1 orange soda foe the qhOle day... then my chief convinced her to demand a raise... now I don't allow her to talk to him anymore!
  8. New member here :)

Welcome to the forum! I'm with you when it comes to trying to teach the kids some business values... my 13 year old daughter has been "working" for me the last 2 years... I run soda machines and she helps stock for $2 a machine. When I look for accounts, she usually goes with me... Good luck with the business, and it sounds like your starting out the right way by checking out the forums. As far as a key is concerned, you will find you will probably have to drill out the lock and get a new one. As far as a license, I might wait until you get more than 1 machine, and you're sure you're going to do this as a business...
  9. They also made this style of machine for 7up (if you think about it, and turned the machine upside down, it kind of looks like the number 7. I've always heard them being referred to as "7 style" machines). I had one and was never able to find those angled select buttons. If the fogging is on the outside, you can try polishing them as moondog suggested. They make a polish just for that type of plastic (we use them for our patrol car lightbars), but I can't remember the brand name. I'll ask one of my partners and let you know. If the fogoing is inside the button, you might be stuck with what you have.
  10. Royal G3 880 machine help

That's what I can't figure out... it seems like if it was the sensor, it would keep dropping the same selection, not randomly move to another. I've never had any real issues with the machine in the 2 years I've had it. And I'd hate to pay $200 for a new board... I only paid $100 for the thing in the first place...

  12. Royal G3 880 machine help

Hmmm, I wonder how much it would cost me to put that extension on.... I could probably get the metal to do it on site, since it is a landfill..... The guy told me that he hit the Pepsi button, and a Pepsi came down the chute. As he was walking away, the machine started dropping Cokes... Finally stopped after dropping the 6th one... I'll try monkeying with the drop sensor and see if it changes anything... Thanks AZ.
  13. I have a Royal G3 880 machine located at a landfill. This morning, I was informed that someone put in $1 and hit the Pepsi button... 1 Pepsi came out, and then 6 Cokes also came out. I know my colunm depths are set right, and the machine is set at Con4 (cokes are in column 1,2 7, and 8, while pepsi is in column 3). When I was there last, the machine said the whole machine was sold out, but there were still sodas in most of the columns. I'm thinking this sounds like a board issue, and possibly a drop sensor issue as well, unless someone else has any ideas?
  14. I've got plenty of Vendos, and don't have any more problems with them than any other machine. Download the parts and operating manuals, then look around vendiscuss.... that will hepp you solve most problems you might encounter....
  15. Info on this machine

I agree with Amigo. No more than $100 on a single price, and I've never paid over $200 for a multi price... Of course, I only pay these prices because I'm cheap frugal.....
