  1. THE REASON WHY YOU ALL ARE ABLE TO SHOW ME ALL THESE GREAT DEALS ON CRAIGSLIST IS BECAUSE YOU ALL LIVE IN SUCH WAAAAAAAY BETTER AREAS THAN WHERE I LIVE (EASTERN TENNESSEE.) I'D BE WILLING TO BET ANY DAMN THING THAT ABSOLUTELY NONE OF YOU CAN SHOW ME ANY DEALS AT ALL IN MY AREA THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED GREAT DEALS (THAT YOU ALL IN HERE WOULD AGREE ON ARE GREAT DEALS) ON CRAIGSLIST FOR QUALITY VENDING MACHINES SUCH AS A&A GLOBAL, NORTHWEST OR EAGLE. TRY AND MAKE A LIAR OUT OF ME AND LOOK IT UP FOR YOURSELF ON CRAIGSLIST. YOU CAN'T DO IT! I'LL GUARANTEE YOU YOU CAN'T DO IT!!!!!
  2. ORSD, I've been searching over the entire United States and I don't see anything that comes remotely close to those numbers. When you said $25 were you just talking about the machine or did you mean BOTH the machine AND the stand for $25? Can anyone else in here buy a complete A&A Global single or double head (stand included) for only $25?
  3. orsd, you said you buy these for $25 each. I've been looking on craigslist for the past 2 hours and I haven't seen anything that comes close to that number. I've even used the search engine for all of craigslist and looked on usedvending.com and I still don't see anything that comes remotely close to what you've said. Are you just referring to buying the machines themselves and NOT THE STANDS?? Please answer this question orsd, otherwise I'll begin to think you're just making these numbers up.
  4. OK I'm searching under all those terms and still nothing like what you all said. Are you guys saying that you buy these things for $25-$30 WITH THE STANDS INCLUDED?? If so, where are you all located?
  5. OK this is amazing to me that you all are able to buy these machines for so cheap. However, I'm looking through Craigslist where I live and all I'm seeing are just generic looking machines and they're asking for at least twice as much as what you all are saying you buy these things for. Can you guys please be more specific here? What keywords to you put into the search engine on Craigslist, and what cities do you look for these in? I only live in a mid-sized city.
  6. How much am I looking at spending with one of these AA or Oak single head machines GagesVending?
  7. OK Thanks GagesVending. You sound pretty knowledgeable with this. Just out of curiosity, you can do bulk candy (gumball) machines as a full time living and make some damn good money at it I bet right?
  8. OK thanks guys. Let me ask this also...............What product is the best product to vend and have you found it lucrative to just go straight down "Main Street" and get as many locations as you possibly can that are all packed into the shortest distances traveled?
  9. I was in the honor box business a while back and I'm going back into it now (doing acrylic this time with the charity sticker). When I was running my route with honor boxes it was blatantly obvious that there is a HUGE and UNTAPPED market out there for vending to small businesses. Normal vending companies won't even touch this market because they have so much invested in overhead. They aren't going to put a several thousand dollar snack machine out there where there's only 8 employees who work at a business. Therefore, when I was running my honor box business, I was able to get many of th
  10. Good point.Theft is always a cost of doing business though no matter what business you're in. But if your theft rate is so high (like mine was in the cardboard honor box business) that it's costing you more money than you actually make in profit, then you realize (like I did) that the cardboard honor box business is for the birds. 20% before 6 months and then 20% after 6 months really aint bad AT ALL, especially when you don't have to work so damn hard (and long)restocking the boxes, folding new boxes, etc. I've not done bulk candy before but I would imagine that that is comparable to bulk
  11. OK thank you treadmill. That is just EXTREMELY GOOD NEWS. Harvending said the same thing................. When I was running a cardboard honor box route I knew that as soon as I started to have to leave notes on the box, it wouldn't be long before I was going to have to speak to the manager/owner of the location about the theft problems and then it wouldn't be soon after that until I was asked to either take the box out or I would choose to leave under my own accord because the stealing would have gotten out of hand by that point. The cradboard honor box system is just a dud unless you're
  12. OK touche' Sherlock, touche'........................................... Anyway, can anyone please tell me if these acrylic honor boxes (with the charity stickers) can generally go without ever having to leave notes on the boxes if they're short? Can you just simply leave these boxes alone that way and generally expect that you won't have theft rate climb so high that you will have to start the whole process of leaving notes, talking with the managers/owners, etc? Harvending, what do you know about this? treadmill what do you know about this?
  13. Sherlock, You just said above to "PLEASE STOP!" with regards to what my own personal views are regarding non-profit organizations and how I don't think they are really much different at all than a regular business in the monetary market system so I'm not going to discuss this with you. It's only going to lead to an argument and I came here to discuss acrylic honor box vending. You are a moderator of this forum and you should be seeing to it that people stay on track with their discussions and don't end up in petty arguments like this. You told me yetserday not to voice my opinions on tha
