  1. Ams 639 - Remove Product

    I ran the calibration procedure and it did not resolve the issue so I continued to investigate and troubleshoot the issue. I have several of these AMS machines but noticed on this one that there are sensors in the bottom portion of the delivery tray so I popped them out, with the power Off, and there was a huge dust bunny on the detector sensor. I removed the dust bunny, checked & cleaned the emitter, ran the calibration again and Voila issue resolved! I would like to thank you guys for lending a helping hand as you are always willing to do.

    Thanks lacanteen. I was looking at the sensors when I observed the error and attempted to clean them but the error did not go away. I also made sure that the door wasnot blocking the sensors. How do I verify if I have a faulty emitter or receiver?

    Hey guys I need a little help with an AMS 639 machine that accepts money, coins and bills, then displays remove product on the display and will not allow any products to be dispensed but it will return your money if the coin return button is pressed. Thanks in advance for your help!

    Wow, thanks Randy. When I pulled the replacement coin mech out of the bag I did observe that the c/r lever was depressed and it was actually a little difficult to get it to go back into regular position. I finally got it right then I installed it so that is definitely a possibility. I am going to the machine again this morning to swap another coin mech to see if that fixes the issue. Thanks guys.     Thanks for your reply. Yep, I definitely turned the power off before swapping coin mechs. I learned that several years ago, the hard way. I kinda thought the same thing about the coin mechs but I keep known good spare mechs in the truck. It's easy enough to swap another mech to see anything changes. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Hey guys, I have encountered a strange issue with a Royal Vision Vue machine today and need some advice. Customers were complaining that the machine does not take dimes so before opening the door to the machine, I insert a couple of dimes and they go right through the coin mech and back to the coin return cup. I have had issues before with this coin mech not dispensing quarters before so I drop a couple of quarters, nickels, and dimes directly into the coin mech chute and all of them go into the coin mech, to tube fill, except for the dimes which are returned to the coin return cup again so I go to the truck and return with a mdb coin mech to swap this out with so I can fix this and keep on moving. After swapping the coin mechs, I insert all denominations into the coin mech and then all are tube filled except for the dimes which return to the coin return cup again. At this time I press the buttons on the coin mech for all denominations and all coins are dispensed as desired. I go into service mode I observe that Changer appears under Error Codes so I then go through the coin payout mode and observe that the quarters are not paying out but the other two denominations are paying out, I try this again several times and I shake my head because I can hear the solenoid click but it sounds like there is one in inside of the machine that is clicking not the one inside of the coin mech. Weird I know. At the end of this saga, I close the door because the business is closing now and I have plans to return first thing in the morning with a plan or a magic potion. Once I close the door I insert several denominations of coins and they are all returned to the coin return cup this time, so I insert a dollar bill and the dollar bill is returned each time. Please help if you have any idea of how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

    Congratulations, you are now ready to receive cashless payments. Looks like you ordered the Plus for all of them but you could have gotten away with the regular version. Supposedly the plus is only needed if you are going to run both a CC reader and the Payrange system, that is my understanding. When i first received mine I allowed them to sit around for quite awhile before installing them, DO NOT do that, jump right in! Finally once I began to install them I did not want to chance shutting my entire operation down so I installed the Payrange on the drink machine first, then monitored it for a week, once I verified that everything was fine then I followed up with the snack machine. Remember that the key is to grab some of the younger folk that are around and show them how it works. The best introduction tactic that I used at the sites was to load about $25 on my OWN account, test it myself so that I understand how it works, then show others how magical it is. Make sure to go onto the Payrange site and enable the promotion that allows the customers to get $1 or $1.50 in free merchandise for their first purchase, it will jump start your sales. Also if you are not charging additional money for using the Payrange system, which is fine because it is only about 4 cents per dollar, then let the people know that this is the best method that you have found in order to keep from raising prices on the items. I pose it as " I can absorb the transaction fee when using this device but if I install a CC reader it is going to automatically charge you an additional 10 percent more on all items ". This has worked well for me because people normally hate the mentioning of paying more for anything. Try it out and let us all know how this goes for you. GOOD LUCK!!!
