  1. Recently, we started a website called VendingBusinessSolutions.com. This website is an all-encompassing site for all your vending needs in the vending business industry. I, Dominick Barbato, have been in the vending machine business for over 6+ years and have been frustrated with what is offered in the industry. About 2 years ago I set out to create Vending Business Solutions as the one-stop shop for all things vending related. We are starting off with just one product: a Charity Honor Box. Charity honor boxes are known and understand by most, but confusing to some. Honor boxes are just regular corrugated cardboard boxes that have a design on them and raise money for charity. We set out to raise money for feeding the hungry, so a portion of all the money inside the box on collection day goes back to giving meals to those that don’t have. Honor boxes could be called a “poor mans business” due to the low costs that they have to start and the low barrier to entry. If you never started a business, and are slightly philanthropic, this might be a business for you to look into. Our boxes are designed with you in mind. We want you to be able to make money, but we also want you to be able to donate to charity. Charity honor boxes are an amazing way for us to be able to raise money and feed the hungry each and every day. We, at Vending Business Solutions are so excited about our honor boxes and the future of what we can do to help you as a vendor! Youtube You can also look me up on Youtube and find recent videos I have done displaying honor boxes, what they are, and there earnings potential! Youtube.com/DominickBarbato
  2. I've read many times that you should link with a charity to accelerate your locating process in Bulk Vending, have any of you happened to start your own non-profit instead of buying the couple dollars worth in stickers? If so, do you have any recommendations or advice on where to go? and or cost to do so? Would love to hear from you guys Thanks, Bryce
  3. Right now i work with Sheridan and im sure money goes to research but im not really sure if its alot after administrative. I read a post that NCCS may not ge as great as they sound idk Im up to 28 locations hopefully 30 soon. I want to fix this before im changing out a 100 or so labels. I was thinking about one of those hospitals that will take care of your kid for nothing or very little or a epilespy charity since that hits home. I be honest with my locations about what i do and i even bumped it to a dollar or like the other charities do but im heavily thinking about doing a flat 15 to 20 percent. But even if i do 20 percentit doesnt mean much unless its a good charity. But I am obviously going to do research on charities within the Dallas area that i might miss that you suggest if any of you know a good one that would be great.

  5. Angels' Crossing Vending Outreach Pledge Form View File Introducing Angels' Crossing Vending Outreach Program Purpose is to provide additional charities to choose from when doing charity vending. They help facilitate foster care and adoption services. Check out the website for more details. Angelscrossingtx.org They are local to South Texas but are interested in starting a national Vending Outreach Program in which I volunteered to help them setup. This is a new program for them and as I helped introduce them to this idea and create this program there was one goal for this program for both the charity and for the vendor. The goal was too keep it simple. There is a Vending Outreach Donor Pledge Form to fill out, Then after form is sent in labels will be provided for you for your vending machines. To help keep this simple and efficient labels will be provided and sent as a PDF and vendor can print, laminate, and use as needed. (Just keep in mind a pledge form is to be done first and also just like all Charity Vending Programs there is a lot riding on the honor system). More literature and brochures can also be requested as needed. $1 per month, per sticker, on location is the part of the pledge agreement, of course more is always appreciated. Pledge Form attached and available for d/l, you can send to me or directly to charity for labels. Submitter BCB434 Submitted 06/25/2017 Category Vending Tools

  10. Hey guys and gals, I have another route that is for sale that I am looking at purchasing and since all of you are so kind I know you will give me feed back. I have been in email contact with the gentleman. The details are as follows. -Owner is selling due to lack of time to service the route. - 15 charity locations that have been on site for about 5 years. -The asking Price is $3500 for the route. ($233.73 per location) -The machines are 2 8 head racks and 13 doubtle/triple head machines. Hasn't disclosed the makes of the machines. -The route has done 3335.73 in gross profit in the past 12 months and it is serviced every 2 months. The route vends Gumballs, Bouncy Balls, 1" Toys, 2" Toys, Skittles, P Nut M&M's, and Mike & Ikea. First off the price seems high for the route so what would be a reasonable price based on the information given? The gentleman doesn't want to give up too much information on locations until there is an agreement in place (which makes me fishy). Is that normal to do? Any other input on or opinions will gladly be appreciated for everyone. Thanks for the time.
  11. Not sure where on this site to post this, but I'd like to take the time to share how great my experience has been with Vending Locator 4U. I did try one locator before and it wasn't a great experience. Then I started locating myself for about 10 locations. But if ever you're like myself and find yourself tied up with other affairs, with not enough time to locate I highly recommend these guys. They're fast, and found me some great locations. One location even told me that I better come back every week because their 50+ employees will empty out my machine in no time. I've used them for 8 locations and counting, and they've all been quality locations with plenty of foot traffic and people that actually wanted the machines. Again, maybe this needs to be moved to another forum, but I'm impressed, and I have to give credit where credit is do. Thanks guys!
  12. Does anyone know of a charity that benefits veterans and works with vendors? I'd like to donate to Fisher House but I'm sure it would be easier to work with someone who already allows it. Thanks!
  13. Do operators for the Ford charity program (Fordway) vend any capsules? The only setup I've ever seen is a two head stand with gum, chiclet, or candy. If they don't offer capsules, I wonder why not?
  14. We have been working with a charity program to help restructure it and get it into hands that are very diligent about how smooth things run. I don't back something unless I believe in it and am willing to take the heat for it, so not many! We have used the charity before and had the best results I've seen from vending charities in general, but the person that ran the site before, wasn't good on communication or on sending items out when ordered as some of you have seen before. For us the locations went quick, better spots and some hard to get ones. We even offer a discount for locating the machines that are signed up with St. Judes and are Vendiscuss members. Any ways, you get the point. I had told a few members I would let them know first and give them a heads up first, and did, so now I'm letting everyone else know that vend2help is under new management and if you use St. Judes for the donations, the locations go in 10 times easier. No, I don't get anything if you don't use us to locate your machines, BUT I have received more from everyone on here that has helped me to restructure my vending business so it will be 10 fold anything I have in the past with less work and more profit, so I thought I would share. If you have any issues signing up or whatever, just let me know and I'll make a call to fix it. Thank you again everyone for your help. I will share anything and everything I can as you have done for me. Rodney
  15. I have 2 locations for charity bulk in big chain store break rooms! These are for NCCS. Hurry before their gone! These will be discounted from our normal rate! These are great locations!!!!!
  16. We added a new Facebook page for the locating end of things. Any likes would be appreciated! I think this will be where we advertise deals and so on, still trying to work it out. Let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback! Thank you!!! https://www.facebook.com/VendingLocator4u If this is in the wrong area, I apologize.
  17. Starting the end of next week we will have time opening up for locating services! Due to the work that we do, we have been very busy! We've added more staff to keep up to the demand, no money upfront, you install the machine before you pay! Quit taking a chance with your money!!!! We have feedback here on the forum! Take a look at what others have to say! Here's our ad in the classifieds: http://vendiscuss.net/index.php?/classifieds/item/807-bulk-vending-locations/
  18. Ok, so we've come to notice that there is a real need for a locator on TVF. I've been on here for several months, helped a few members, and been helped. If you need help with your bulk charity machines or honor boxes, let us know. I put an add in the classified section with our contract. I will do all I can to help. I have a bulk vending route of mostly Uturn's. I'm in the process of starting to go more Commission and racks. If you need help with your Uturn's and repairs, start a thread and let me know. I will answer it to the best of my ability. Threads are searchable and that way everyone benefits! Any way's, just thought I would announce "officially" that we will help whoever needs it (currently only in the US). Thank you!
  19. Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of charities who are working with bulk vendors, like "rent-a-sticker" type program? I'm sure it must exist somewhere, but my eyes are crossing from searching, and yet to find a good list... Thanks!! Jennifer
  20. Hello, I am afraid I am too new to bulk vending to call myself a newbie. I am considering starting a bulk vending route and would like some advice. I am the director of a nonprofit organization that supports orphanages in South America. We provide support to about 15 orphanages. We are always looking for ways to support the orphanages and I thought of starting a a bulk vending business. In reading through the forum and other sources it seems that many people put stickers on their machines and pay $1 a month to a charity. If we were to put adorable pictures of orphans on stickers and state that 8 cents of every quarter, or some significant amount, would go to helping orphanages, and then when we serviced the machines gave an update to the business owners what we were doing with the money from our bulk business do you think; 1. That would give us a significant advantage over others in finding good locations? I am pretty sure that in our small town where we are well known it would but a town of 20,000 can only support so many machines so we would need to find success beyond our little town to raise the money I would like to raise. 2. Our business plan might encourage more people to buy from us? The other question I have is this. I spend all my extra time away from my paying job running our non-profit organization and do not have time to run a vending business. Do you think it is possible that 1 and 2 above would give us enough of an advantage that we could hire someone we trust and say that they needed to give us 5 cents of every quarter and they could keep the rest that they could make enough that it was worth their while? Or alternatively if we found locations and had quality machines that were easy to service we could have volunteers that would each service the same 5 machines a month that that might work? Thanks for you help in advance.
  21. If you were to describe to me the perfect Charity sticker program what would it include? I have been thinking of starting Vending routes run by volunteers to help support our non-profit but a couple of you veterans suggested starting our own Charity sticker program instead. At the end of my post I will explain why we are a good cause but here I want your input on what you would want in a charity sticker program that you would use. Here are some of my ideas but I am an outsider to the business and they may not be good ideas. 1. We would put a picture of an adorable orphan on the sticker, maybe holding a sign that said thank you. 2. We would put a link to a web page that explained what we do and exactly how the vending program helped us. We would try and make our approach appeal to children and parents to gain their loyalty. 3. We may have two sticker sizes. (they would be the same price) one that was small and easy to place another that was bigger and had more visual appeal. 4. We would put out a brief monthly newsletter that could go to each vendor if they wanted, and each business owner on your charity route if they wanted to receive it. It would basically be a few paragraphs showing the good we were doing with your support. No spam and it would be easy to opt out. We would make a downloadable printable version that you could drop off on your routes. 5. We would offer you brochures to use at cost. Or provide a digital one that you could download and print. What are some other things you would put in a perfect program? Thanks for you help. See below for why we are a great cause. The Gringo Gordo (that is what some of the kids in the orphanages call me) Why Orphanage Support Services Organization OSSO is a great charity. 1. About 95% of the donations we get go to support the children in the orphanages. Our Admin is small. I am full time but get no salary. 2. Besides hundreds of thousands of dollars of support we give to the orphanages our volunteers give 100,000 hours of service a year in the orphanages so they/we see that our funds are used correctly. 3. We impact the lives of children who impact generations and break the cycle of poverty. 4. The public is in love with the idea of orphans. How many books and movies have orphans or almost orphans as their main character? (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Luke Sky Walker, and so on.)
  22. Hey guys.. I was wondering what are some of the charity's you guys us and how much you guys pay out to them. also do they supply you with advertising stickers for your support?
  23. Hey guys I just started in the vending (bulk gum/ candy) business and trying to locate my machines next week. I got some stickers from a charity and was hoping to locate the machines w/o paying any comission to the owner. I was wondering how hard is that (relying only on the charity stickers) and how would u guys answer if the owner asked "So if you're helping this charity, what % do you give them monthly??" which obviously we don't - we help them by buying labels, brochures, tshirts, etc. I don't want to be a hustler and lie or anything but at the same time I want to minimize my costs. let me know what worked for u thanks
  24. I was looking at the document posted and how many of the scripts refer to donating to charity. While I couldn't say that unless I actually was donating a comission to charity. I'm curious for those willing to admit it, how many use charity as a way to get in, but don't actually give to charity and who uses that and DOES actually give to charity?
