  1. Hopefully someone out there can help me find the correct shims for a machine I just got. It is a Coca Cola Dixie-Narco labeled as 501CC 280-7 on the side. Thinking it was similar to the 501e I ordered some shims for the 501e and they are way too long it appears. First off is it even possible to do bottles (specifically 20oz Gatorade) in this machine ? Secondly can someone point me in the correct direction for shims? Side note I am looking to put shim in the one of the narrow columns (This model has 5 narrow and 3 wide) Thanks in advance ...and I have already learned so much from this forum !!
  2. hi all, I'd like to add some variety to my machine. Im currently vending (mostly) soda, Gatorade, and water. I would like to find a more appealing beverage for the morning hours. Perhaps some type of juice or yoohoo. My concerns are about shelf life and spoilage. Those of you with some years on me, mind sharing your experience? Kevin
  3. I just bought a Dixie-Narco DNCB 501T/MPC-8 for $150. The previous owner said the machine just stopped charging people for the soda, and dispensed them for free. But the first issue I’m having is that I can’t seem to go through the menu how I’d like, and it seems to do what it wants. After plugging he machine in the display screen started going up in .50 increments non stop up to $99 and then seems to go trough all the menu options for a bit before doing it all over again. I followed the instructions from another member of the forum who replied to a comment asking about how to operate and set the prices of this machine. (Link) https://des.az.gov/sites/default/files/media/dn_501_e_and_t_operators_manual.pdf After pressing 1&2 at the same time to try to get the menu to appear, the display seems to react as it stops going through menu options or increasing the price by .50 so fast but that’s all it does. It doesn’t seem to go through the menu when I hit the buttons but just slow or pause it for a couple seconds. But it did change the price a little as the display was increasing from $1 to $1.50 to $2 etc. But after messing with the buttons it’s now jumping from $1.14 to $1.64 to $2.14 etc. But I can’t seem to get the machine to react like this and change the prices again, unintentionally or not lol. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
  4. My Name is William Fletcher and I'm one of the top mechanic at ACR Coach. We had a Dixie-Narco drink machine at our Nashville yard. Thay close that yard and moved the machine to mississippi and the owner want us to use it. How can I get into the machine and order the parts to fix it. Thank you
  5. I just bought an old Dixie Narco 360 R/210-6. I have some problems with the price. I want to change the price but I don't know how to do it. I hope that you can help! - Christian Jakobsen
  6. What are my options for this machine? Currently it has a Coinco Vortex which is a replacement for Coinco 9302GX. I'd like one that dispenses $1 coins since I have some items at $2.50 in this machine and it accepts $5 bills. I really like the MEI cf7512's as shown here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MEI-Mars-CF-7512-MDB-5-Tube-Coin-Changer-Mech-BB-/252393438050?hash=item3ac3d23b62:g:fngAAOSwPhdVJGbd Can I do the MEI in this machine?
  7. Cannot get around a compressor fan issue and could really use some guidance. Here's a quick course of events: Compressor fan stopped working, though compressor continued to run >> Replaced entire fan/motor assembly >> Fan still does not turn on >> Replaced overload >> Fan still does not turn on >> Check voltage from power cord that runs from main wiring harness to the compressor relay/overload >> Fan still does not turn on When main power is plugged in everything powers on EXCEPT the compressor fan, including the compressor. What am I missing here? Could it be the thermostat? Or the relay? If it's the relay, then why is the compressor powering on? Thanks in advance.
  8. Hello All, I have an older Dixie-Narco single price soda machine that is giving out free sodas. It is not cancelling the credit after vending the first soda. I checked the motors and they are not "coasting" past the notch. I had the door open and inserted money, vended a soda but noticed the red light didn't come back on the Coinco BA30A after the drink was dispensed. When I pressed the drink selection again, another soda vended, then the credit was cancelled and the light on the bill validator came back on. It seems to only happen on two selections, not all of them and then only once. At first I thought it was a motor, but the motor is stopping in the correct location. I noticed it happens after the machine has been sitting idle for a while, because it only does it then and not when I try to get the machine to repeat the problem over and over. I can get it to do it only once, then, no matter how many times I try it, it won't screw-up.
