  1. Hey guys, I'm having a problem with 2 AMS machines. Every time I go into either location, there is a decent amount of water coming from under the machine. The hoses that go into the pan are connected just fine. There is never any water laying in the pan, just seems to be coming from an area I cannot pinpoint. I put a little stack of paper towels on the inside of the cabinet towards the front of the machine on the right, just in front of the coils, and the next day, it was already soaked in water. Just wondering, has anyone come across this type of problem? The delivery bin door is not stuck open. Compressor doesn't seem to be running over time and nothing ever frosts up inside. This is one of my best accounts and I would hate for the guy to get mad at me about this. In the mean time, I put pans underneath the machine, but even that doesn't catch all the water sometimes. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
  2. How interested are vendors in healthy portable food items in vending machines? What is the process and who do you contact/look? Is there a niche market for this?
  3. Can anyone with experience in food vending give me some insight? Do certain accounts ever hit it out of the park with a cold food/ frozen machine or are they always a break-even or money losing endeavor? I have 3 locations that are very similar. approx 130 staff each, 24/7, centralized lunch room, blue collar and in an area with few options and nothing after 10pm. Each location grosses approx $400/week total from snack and cold drinks. In my situation would you: Offer cold/ frozen food and expect to make good money? Provide it only if asked? Stay away at all costs? Cheers
  4. Hi there! I am an innovation management consultant and I look for technologies for my clients. one of my clients, a large food manufacturer is looking to bend its product - stores frozen, vended thawed. I am just trying to get oriented and will greatly appreciate advise and referrals. Do you know of such machines? Anybody is trying to develop something like that? I am also reaching out to Japanese manufacturers. In fact I am going to be in Japan next week for two weeks and would be interested to connect and meet some relevant companies (in Tokyo and Osaka). Would appreciate some suggestions and leads. Thanks a lot!
  5. Does anyone have any experience with HealthyYOU vanding?
  6. ok Say you have a vending machine that holds chips and such. Can that vending machine be adjusted or is it automatically adjusted told hold whatever you put in it???
  7. I am new to vending and am in the process of obtaining my license now. I know a guy who has given me access to 5 of his businesses right from the start. I am a complete novice and am wondering what is truly the best rout to go starting out. I will be working with about 5-$700 starting out. Yep, this is a complete from the ground up beginning for me so I am reaching out to you more experienced players in the game. What is truly the best way to start? Drinks, combo, snacks or bulk? I will be placing my machine or machines in a place where it might be a good idea for people to eat something before they have a procedure done so I was thinking a combo machine but I am not sure if I need to invest such a low amount one 1 item. Pretty much ebay is looking like they have either cheap used machines or the expensive well made good operating machines which I can't afford right now. I am aware I can look at used machines locally but don't want to start that until I at least have my license and permit. So what do you say guys? Also, any good verified places on the net to obtain decent priced used machines that I won't have to start spending money on as soon as I get it? Thanks!
