  1. Anyone been HAPPY with Healthy You, fresh healthy, karma, or other oops? Are there current operators Who would like to comment on their experience? I know this topic has been beaten up. Trying to reconcile the happy operators I've interviewed vs the traditional route proponents/sales reps who are so vehemently opposed to healthy oops. Most interested if you have direct experience with healthy. Thanks much!
  2. Hello there, I am looking into getting in the vending business. I've been talking to a few franchises but I find the cost to be pretty high. Any suggestions/guidance is very much appreciated. I am interested in drinks and snacks and I live in Houston, TX.
  3. How interested are vendors in healthy portable food items in vending machines? What is the process and who do you contact/look? Is there a niche market for this?
  4. Hi all! My fiancé and I are new to this business and are currently in the works of selecting our first machines. We are doing "healthy vending machines" and are looking for the most reliable drink and food combo machines to start with. Right now we have our eyes on the Selectivend Commander Combo Machine. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!
  5. Does anyone have any experience with HealthyYOU vanding?
  6. Trying to decide if I should purchase this vending machine route to begin my business. Feedback is appreciated. ----- Small, established vending route for sale to a motivated operator who will continue its success. The route consists of 6 snack/drink combo machines placed in 6 great locations. All machines are located in office buildings. Machines take change, bills, and credit cards. Sales are managed online. Machines average over $600 in sales per week and require only 1 day per week to service. This is an excellent part-time business by itself or a great addition to an established route. There are opportunities to expand this route with the existing clients. More details: 5 Genesis machines 1 Forium brand (?) machine (unclear on phone call) Machines are between 1 and 3 years old Machines are estimated 6k new They are mostly "healthy" vending machines Must be serviced between 9 - 5 57 - 60% margins net over $300 / week 50% cc sales $10/m cc technology subscription per machine I am waiting on an email response and should have more info and a photo tomorrow.
  7. Hi everyone. This site looks very good. I have just started out in the vending world. I have 2 accounts already at a local train station near my home. Grossing around $500 a month there. I wanted to ask you guys a few questions as I am looking to expand.. 1. What do you guys think about targeting Dr's offices, Chiro offices, Salons, Tanning facilities, Gyms, Nail Salons, Libraries for a "healthy vending" concept? 2. What is the best way to find new locations? Cold call, walk in, buy out old locations, advertise? 3. How much can I expect to make if I put in 40-50 hours a week at this? 4. Do you guys buy insurance for you machines? 5. Is accepting credit cards worth it? Thanks for the help ahead of time! -Patrick
  8. Hello guys, I am new to the food & beverage vending. I started initially with bulk vending only to realized that it's not for me, I waited till I made my initial investment and sold the machines. Now as I am looking into the food & bev and mainly trying to do strictly healthy vending (w/o having to go through a shady franchise company) , it looks to me that most of the machines break very often. I thought I'd reach out here to the experts and ask the following 2 questions: 1- What are the best /most recommended machines for food & bev (combination of parts availability, price, and durability). I looked around the forum and found alot of inconsistent answers that got me confused a little . 2- Why is the healthy vending business not picking up? I thought about it a few years ago and now am still surprised to see that people are still placing machines that sell junk food. Thanks in advance!
