  1. I need your help on a Vendo 601. I keep getting error 1 on random columns, sometimes all columns without an actual jam or motor “coasting”. I’ve replaced the motors, motor switches, selection switches, board, Bill and coin, checked for obvious harness/wiring issues and removed the light bulbs. Most of my Vendos will have an occasional error 1 on only one column from time to time but this particular one goes thru horrible stages of all columns jammed then works flawlessly for several weeks then back to error 1 on all columns. To clear the error code I have been holding the motor switch and pressing the inner door switch to rotate the motors.
  2. Hello, I have a vendo 511 and one of the columns sells Monster and it takes 2 cans. Due to slow sales, I want to change that to regular pop and that column can take 3 cans. When I removed all the Monster and put the regular cans and increased the length of the column, the machine will spit out 2 cans on the first purchase then 1 can after. But I need it to spit out 1 can at a time. So how can I reset it so that it recognizes I have 3 cans and needs to spit out 1 at a time?
  3. got the vendo n21 running, was running fine, had a critter to clean out, so when I was putting everything back, I saw a spark, didn't think anything of it, come to realize nothing on the door works, not power to the door at all, I have 110v going in, the fans are running, compressor is off, door is off.
  4. I have a v721 with the live buttons (12 large buttons) display, the lock is automatic, I lost power to the machine, checked the breaker on the cord, it is fine, but hot, I cannot get inside the machine, how can I get power to the machine to open the door? or how can I open the door?
  5. I have a Vue 40 that has worked flawlessly for 6 months. I know I was lucky. I found a drink in the hand that would not release. Error shows PDC not available please check cable. Found exposed wires in the IGUS cable. Replaced that cable still got same error. So replaced the hand. Still same message. So I replaced the ribbon cable. After I replaced the ribbon cable the hand would move side to side in test mode, but would not go up and down. I did hear a high pitch sound and noticed as if the rail wanted to go up because it lurched for a second. But will not travel the Y axis. Error message now did not show PDC error but showed Y motor jam. So I replaced the Y motor. After replacing the Y motor I got the exact same result and exact same error Y motor jam. I think the the Y motor is running reverse and that why its jamming. It appears that it is trying to go down not up. I actually see the axle bind for a half second then relax then 15-20 seconds try again. Anyone have any ideas what to do next. The Voodoo 40 is once again living up to its name.
  6. so I bought a vendo! I know, I know..... I set it up, the machine is fairly new, and in great condition, I changed the bill acceptor, there are 10 lines in the machine, and 9 buttons, I am slowly learning the machine menu, it vends everything perfect, except 1 selection, sometimes ill put $1, and it will not vend, so I put another $1, it then vends, the next time I put $1 in, it vends for $1, this happens every other time, on this one selection only. what is wrong with it? what do I need to do? is it something in the menu? 2. I do I remove force vend? when I put $1 in, and press coin return, it will not return, and force me to purchase, please help
  7. Hello....We have a big Vendo V570 pop machine that was broken into. Not only did the punk take the money, but took the mech and bill validator too! I believe this machine is able to accept MDB or the standard (12/15 pin?) connections. Can someone please tell me which model #'s I can use for replacement parts? I can get more information if needed. Thanks in advance...
  8. Hello there all you Vending people I've been cleaning up an 'old' Vendo 75X and trying to get it running again to use it in a private setting on a Western Ranch. The Machine had been sitting there for several years and collected about an inch of dirt (inside and outside) so I started of by taking everything apart and cleaning it up before reinstalling everything. Everything seemed to work out fine except for one vending motor which seemed to be unwilling to make a full rotation. After operating the axle switch a couple of times the unit just showed "empty" and was unwilling to work anymore. swapping the motor unit to another position just made matters worse also rendering that selection useless... long story short, now all 5 selections show "empty" while the motor units work when I power them from a separate source, the diodes on the motor units check out, the switches work as they should... it seems to be a problem with the Operating Board now but for the life of me I can't figure out what went or is now wrong Does anybody have any good ideas? Might anybody have the Vendo 75X operating manual or schematics? Operating Board p/n BB01 2198FC05 (googling this brings me to a Polish website which claims to repair "empty" indicating boards for €90 so it can't be a huge issue I guess)... Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks everybody
  9. Hi, I recently bought a Vendo 407 vending machine. This uses a mars ms-150 coin mechanism. I will try to connect so I can get free vend. Is there anyone who can help me? PLEASE....
  10. I have a Vendo 480. Column 9 will be completely empty and the machine does not register as being sold out, so will accept money, engage the motor and dispense nothing when column is empty. Ive changed the sold out microswitch that engages with the paddle in the column with one I know works but still does the same thing. What else could it possibly be ?

  12. Anybody know anything about these machines? Age? Where to find parts? Are they obsolete? What should I check out before putting on location. (Its going at a location I own, so any breakdown wont upset the "owner" too much..lol). Just want to get familiar with this machine as Ive only owned soda machines. The model number is S2000 however cant find much info on them online. Just bought this for $225 and everything seems to work. AND found the coin box FULL of change! Looking around the net, figured it was an awesome deal. Also cant find flavor strips for this machine anywhere. Any info or experience anyone has with these machines would be greatly appreciated. (And I did happen to find the manual online).

  18. Hello, I have been researching various glass-front soda machines and have narrowed my choices down to the Vendo Vue 40 and Dixie Narco Bevmax 4. I currently operate snack machines but don't know much about glass-front soda machines. I intend to place the machine in an office breakroom with roughly 250 employees. My questions are as follows: 1. Which machine is best? 2. Are refurbished machines safe to purchase, or is it better to fork out the cash for a brand new machine? 3. What types of mechanical problems have you experienced or heard of? Any help or information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Happy vending!
  19. has anyone had issues with installing a crane telemeter cardswipe and radio in the 721 vendo soda machine. I have had quite a few issues with the machine not allowing enough time for the transaction to be processed therefore locking the machine up with the highest priced item. in my case $3.00. ive been on the phone with streamware and crane numerous times they are currently trying to figure out the problem. and the only way to temporarily fix the problem is to unplug the machine and plug it back in.

  21. I was talking to AZ the other day about what I had done with this vendor and he said I should share because there are people who have these vendors. I wanted to sell this vendor but was concerned about the keypad. No longer available.... Even tho this one worked fine I didn't want it to come back on me later. It will vend 20oz bottles and Gatorade single depth and is multiprice so that makes it worth putting a little into it. So I put my thinking cap on and found that the only thing polyvend on this vendor is the door and keypad. Everything else is Vendo. It is a uni vendor basic model 480 Looking at the wiring diagram I found that the key pad membrane was a wiring harness from the board to a membrane. I figured there are 11 wires 1 common and 10 for selections. There is several ways that this can be done but I chose to try and keep the original look. I went to Radio Shack and found some momentary low profile switches and a kit that had wires that had female connectors that would just push over the pins when the membrane was unplugged. Then I removed the plate that hold the BV and the buttons. Use masking tape to hold the buttons so they don't fall all over the floor. You don't want to loose any of them. After removing the panel I picked all the buttons up off the floor. Then I replaced the panel so I could see the membrane and have a center mark where the switch needed to be. I drilled a hole for each switch. Then removed the panel and took to the workbench and removed membrane and installed all eight switches Then I soldered one wire to each switch this will be my common. I connected all eight wires (8 Selections) to one of the wires with the female connector. Then I took one of the wires with the female connectors and soldered it to the #1 selection and did this on each of the other switches. After doing all the soldering I installed the panel and connected all the wires. Check to make sure all the buttons have play so they aren't pushing on the switches. You might want to shim with a small washers or losen screws. Completed button panel Gatorade in column #1 .......... I have ran several bottles and it is vending good. I have not field tested yet. I removed can shim on double columns Set back spacer to single depth Removed the gauge bar from the underneath. And removed the anti theft bar. Set the cam on motors to 1 vend. This vendor has a home after the first of the year. I will be monitoring it.
  22. I have a brand new Vendo 721, 10 select, live view that column 5 will not vend a 12 oz. can. Took all the cans out and reloaded, still did not work. Display light goes from green to red then says sold out. Tried to test vend. Sounds like motor wants to turn, but doesn't. Checked depth setting, set at 4 deep. Took cover off the motors to check spring. Spring looks fine. Any advise?
  23. Hello Everyone, I am considering purchasing a route and would like your advice. The route consists of 13 machines comprised of Vendo, GDL (490 I believe), LCM I & LCM II, and 3 Pepsi machines. All machines are owned by the seller except the Pepsi machines which are owned by another entity and do not have minimum purchase requirements and are not leased. The asking price is 8K which is high since the annual gross is 15K and net is 7K (figures are based on conversation with owner only), but the owner is willing to negotiate. The machines are located in break rooms which should explain the revenue and the possible reason for combo machines. These machines have been on site for about 8 years and the sites are happy with them. Please share your wisdom! Thanks.
  24. I'm overhauling a Vendo V475 soft drink machine. I've downloaded a manual, but it's old and cryptic, and the wisdom of experienced folks at this forum would make life way easier! 1. Info on the motors is hard to come by. Does someone know if there were newer, improved motor models for this machine since it was manufactured 25 years ago? If so, what part numbers might I look for (for assemblies)? 2. Ditto for the coin mech. Currently it has a very old Coinco that appears to malfunction. The mechs recommended in the manual are understandably as old as the manual itself, but I'm aware that the coin mech companies are still in business. Does anyone know if there were newer models that work in the V475? 3. I can't find this in the manual either: The compartments that hold soft drinks each have a trigger to activate out-of-stock mode. I haven't measured, but it looks as though it needs to have a half-dozen rows of product stacked up in there to reach the trigger, meaning that out-of-stock status will actually kick in when there's plenty of stock. Am I right about this? 4. Do the shafts for the bail buckets or the crank ever need lubricating? Seems to me that after decades of service they must be pretty dry. If someone has knowledge of this machine, I'd sure be grateful for a bit of it.
