Poplady1
Sometime ago we discussed a new idea about advertising on your soda fronts, especially in hotels etc. We love Rainbow vending for being one of those companies that can take ideas and run with them. Please click on the link below for details on Rainbow's next big adventure. http://www.vendingmarketwatch.com/news/10451051/city-of-san-diego-calif-to-partner-with-rainbow-vending Vending ideas for large or small accounts can be exciting and bring excitement to any discussion during your sales pitch. Do your best to create win/win situations and things will go well for all. Poplady1

Do you know if they will be selling the advertising themselves or contracting it out to a third party? Will they be using some sort of touch screen or creating custom fronts to install on the machines?
spdydre
there is a vendor down here that does advertising on his soda machines and charges people a weekly fee to advertise their business. On his snack machines he takes out a ring column and uses the spot for someones advertising ad and charges for that also. Apparently he does pretty well with it
Poplady1
Sounds great. Do you know if they will be selling the advertising themselves or contracting it out to a third party? Will they be using some sort of touch screen or creating custom fronts to install on the machines? Rainbow has a large sales force (including me-smile) so they will bring in the clients. Here is a link to some information about the video technology. http://www.vendingmarketwatch.com/article/10273009/video-screens-give-vending-machines-new-capabilities When we talked to the San Diego Zoo we offered this as part of the proposal. Each machine would have a custom front photo of the next attraction on the foot path. A short video would be playing on a loop talking about that attraction. It is easy to do, you just put in a new chip to change out the message. Anyone can make the film for the video using a camcorder and downloading to the chip. Of course the more professional it looks the better... I realize there are only certain accounts that you would want to present this too but it would open up your hotel marketing. Just talking to close by restaurants, attractions, shops, etc. Poplady there is a vendor down here that does advertising on his soda machines and charges people a weekly fee to advertise their business.
