AngryChris
So do they get to punch their opponent when they get checkmated? Lol, maybe! But if I recall from what someone else told me (and I am not going to cheat and google this because it takes the gossip-fun out of it), you have like 3 minutes of chess and 3 minutes of boxing. It's funny because you have to be a decent enough boxer not to get knocked out and a really good chess player because being bad at chess is probably the easier way to lose! lol. The Mage
They do alternate between chess and boxing. I didn't look up how long each time frame was, but the 3 min does sound right. A person can with with either a knockout, or checkmate. If neither occur before all the rounds, (not sure how many,) then the judges choose the winner. I found this on the Discovery channel website, with a list of strange sports that actually exist. Another one was Qudditch. People actually took the Harry Potter game, and tried to make it real. And yes they play on broomsticks. (Unfortunately they don't fly.) http://www.internationalquidditch.org/
