mission vending
The saying goes something like, "any publicity is good publicity" and this certainly ought to generate some publicity http://www.vendingtimes.com/ME2/dirmod.asp?sid=&nm=Articles&type=Publishing&mod=Publications%3A%3AArticle&mid=8F3A7027421841978F18BE895F87F791&tier=4&id=77695FF4AF524240B0EF82280B7C5F93
PerformaVending
Well, some people have already made the joke that everyone is thinking already, so I'll stay silent on that matter. I just hope the campaign flops like many other candy promotions. I won't be too happy if my #1 selling bulk candy takes a sales hit, so I'm crossing my fingers on this one. rdendy
As a marketeer it's a terrible idea to mix political hot button topics into your strategy. While the polls go back and forth but generally show the American public warming to the idea, the actual voters in more than 30 states have shown they don't like it, making me believe that more than a few people lie to the pollsters so they don't appear prejudice. Even if it was a 50/50 split best case scenario is that they open up to potentially 50% more customers, worst case is they could lose popularity among 50% of their existing customers. It's a zero win ploy and pretty stupid if you ask me.
kandyking
I, for one, saw this coming. For years I have thought that Ike was way too good for Mike. What is in the future for this once happy couple? Ike n plenty's?
