Looks like around 10-12 1800 machines plus a rack and a couple of others I can remember. How much are you lighter in the pocket for these machines? Hopefully not too much. Please do share. Inquiring minds would like to know.

Get those gumballs out on locations a.s.a.p. -- they're already going on year old.

Exp dates on those are usually 2yrs from mfr date...which would put that boxes born-on date March 2012.

And if you do use them, don't expect them to last as long as gb's normally do for you since those exp dates are exaggerated in my experience.

On that subject, make sure you check the exp date on that candy too...it's got an even shorter shelf life.

Well all those machine will be out in 5-10 days. Most will have gum balls in them when they go out.

The candy has a exp of 12-2013 to 12-2014. I feel pretty good i can move them in that time frame.

On another note darn good eye you have there.

Nice. I stumbled on someone selling about 25 of those for $700 when I bought my business in 2008. I used them to supplement my existing locations and they paid for themselves very quickly. For the most part they are all still going strong. I few broken parts but they have been good money makers.

Shame they are not around anymore i like them. they vend pretty much everything i vend and last and the 50c mechs are easy to find as well.

Great score! Thats a couple hundred a month in gross revenue there when you get them out! Best of luck! Even if you have to throw the older gum out who cares?

Everybody is so worried about my gum. It is from sams i will take it back today and swap it out with something that has a much newer date.

i went out and served my machines today. I will use that money to buy more candy and toys to stock those bad boys with. So over the next week i plan to locate

all of those.

Wish me luck

Everybody?

Really?...I only see 2 posts that even mention the expiration of the gum on this thread.

Are you talking about people away from this forum being "worried" about your gum?

I don't know about the others, I'm only speaking for myself.

My post suggested you get the gb's out on location A.S.A.P. -- not that you should get rid of them.

If you can exchange them, do it...But, don't feel you have to.

Frankly, anyone who is not in vending should have no problem having one of those gb's.

If they saw a box of cereal, can of tuna, or bag of rice at the market with a 3/2014 expiration date, I'll bet they wouldn't think twice about buying it...and they'd be right not to.

As a vendor, you just have to remember your gb's are not as fresh as those mfr'd more recently.

But, there's nothing WRONG with them.

And if taken from unopened boxes, I'll bet hardly anyone would be able to notice a difference between a gb from your box mfr'd in March 2012 and one from my box mfr'd in October 2012.

My comments were all about "shelf-life"...sorry if you were mislead to believe they were no good.

Your box is unopened, don't sweat it.
