buying ammo

Great question. I'd like to know, too.

My usual places have all dried up...online and brick-and-mortar stores.

My range time is suffering because of this crazy rush towards ammo/guns.

Supply is low and demand high, so prices are out of control.

Wish the madness would go away so that availability of both ammo and firearms would come back to normal and the price gouging would stop.

But, I don't think that will happen soon...too many folks running around like Chicken Little screaming that the sky is falling.

You need to find out when your local store gets their delivery and be there when they open. I have not had problems getting SOME ammo this way. Its not caliber, its quantity. They get some of everything and limit how many boxes you can buy. On days I have done this there has always been a few other people waiting for the store to open as well.

I had to go to the Walmart pharmacy yesterday, so I thought I'd take a stroll to the sporting goods section to see if they had any ammo. I was shocked to see only 243 and 270 rifle ammo and a tiny selection of 20 gauge. There were signs limiting all purchases of ammo to 3 boxes. Glad I didn't sell my Dillon! If I can just remember where I put the DVD instructions.

you have a dillon? Are you talking about a minigun? or something else?

Found two good websites for buying online

Ammo seek.com

Armslist
