FNA Vending
Hello,'' I am very new to the vending business, I have 1 soda machine and 10 gumball machines. I am in the process of buying 2 more soda machines and 6 more gum machines (if I can find good priced used ones). I work another job full time, Is there an inexpensive program that I can use to track the vending? I am not a computer pro, so the simpler the better,, That you in advance. I have learned alot from all of you, Daron

Happy Vending
I posted this in another thread as well, but I use GNUcash. It's easy to use, but it's open source so it's free!

I'm a big proponent of open source, and thanks for sharing this info with everyone. That being said, my accountant prefers Quickbooks. And it integrates well with pretty much everything. If you are large enough to be able to afford an accountant then quickbooks probably makes more sense just because of the support that's available (and more accountants have probably used it!). 300-400$ for the cheapest option of quickbooks was a bit too much for me. Vending is only a weekend job for me, ATM

Vending is only a weekend job for me, ATM In my opinion, I couldn't afford not to have an accountant. I've had one since any of my businesses were established, and a good accountant will earn his or her keep. I personally don't know how I'd do without him. Absolutely, and I wouldn't recommend against it. For me, the vending business is easy in terms of accounting since it's an all cash business.
