New2TheGame
Hello...I am new to this...In fact I am merely exploring my options at this time. I have the opportunity to purchase "(20) Like NEW Vendstar Triple Canister 25cent Candy Machines with keys - $75" $1500 for the lot. Any ideas on this? Any input is greatly appreciated. GagesVending
I personally have 20 Vendstars, but I only bought them because they were all on locations and I simply wanted the locations. I paid $800 for 18 on location, the other two I bought separately. I wouldn't pay anywhere near $75 each for them. If you are looking to buy machines to build your own route, then I would suggest you save your money for better machines. The Vendstars are not horrible machines, but they don't hold up for years like the metal machines do and they only vend candy. They also are not suitable for nice places because they have a cheap appearance and the quarters jam once there's about $20 or so in the machine. I'd suggest for triple heads: SuperPro, Routemaster and 1800. The 1800's have individual canisters (like the Vendstar) but they have metal parts and are a classy looking machine and hold up really well over the years. The SuperPro and Routemaster's don't have the canisters, which is my only complaint with them, but they hold up great as well. Another option is buying good single head machines such as: Oak, Eagle, Beaver, Northwestern, AA, etc. and building double and single head machines on a pipe stand. I've moved on to this option more because I'm vending capsule toys now, so this is a great option, it just takes a little longer to remove the quarters. Erosenlieb
I have a few vendstart that came with the route i bought after a massive cleaning they work ok. I dont think i would pay more than 20 bucks for one though. As a madder of fact there is a guy that lives close to me that has about 300 of them. He asks 20 bucks a pop and 15 if you buy a good bit. TKK
i started with vendstars i dont regret it because they were my "gateway machine" to vending. however they are all being sold on route next week with routepros, xyzs, and 1800s. i will NEVER BUY a vendstar again. they miss vend ALOT, and parts brake like crazy. I will definately do bulk again in a couple of months and will only buy 1800s or routepros. 1800s preffered
