Ughhhh!

so today feels like i oasse3d under a ladder. im just very stressed. i would GREATLY apreciate your guys's help! i tried to post pics and all.

I went to stock my new location. Its a vendo. prety big vendo too. can only. took forever to get it to accept bills. loaded it up. everything worked, and then one column the SOLD OUT light turned on, not allowing the selection to vend. thinking it was a jam i took off all the cokes, and the 2 in the bottom scoop werent stuck but i couldnt get them out. i popped the motor cover and the motor looked miss aligned, as all the other ones have a metal clip on the circles grooves. this one was halfway. i got a screwdriver to try and mess with it and accidentally touched the 2 wires on top together with the screwdriver and a spark came out. then it started buzzin (the motor) and the white little lever ontop would raise and kinda humm. so i unplugged one of the two wires to disconnect it as the humming was pretty annoying. is there a way to fix this? how do i align the scoop i tried wiggling it its not moving at all. do you think touching those two wires also popped the motor which is why its humming now?? i know i saw an operator a long time ago he would press something and the motor would automatically vend. any ideas?

This machine when coins are inserted they dont go all the way in. unless u push very hard and fast they will go through the slide and into the coinco. i popped the top off the slide as i could see the quarters keep staying in therr. i noticed it has a ton of bumps and ridges, i was thinking of putting tape or something so that they drop? i noticed it has a small crack and not rightly aligned, but its on there good, i wouldnt even know how to remove it, where can i get one? any advice? 1 of like 2 coins doesnt make it unless u bang the machine :(

Part b

so my bussiest and best location, i go in and the crane snack machine says coins only. i see that sales went down alot. popped it open and i had a ton of bills. (i leave them there the whole month almost). i noticed there was a stuck dollar bill on the track of the validator. i pulled it and it got unjammed. still nothing. i dont think it has any power to it. i unplugged the machine, and same thing. then i put main power switch off and on again same thing. it wasnt rebooting as when you plug it in (the belts aligning noise). i dont think its getting any power or something. i noticed the BV and the mech have the same plug in harness and swapped them with one another, and same thing. i dont even know how to take off this thing either as its in the side. i believe there used to b a little led on and not anymore. theres a side menu but i cant see it as the door side blocks it. its a MARS bv. please help u guys id really apreciate it. i have another 2 cranes with the same setup in location, i was thinking if the bv is dead, to swap it from a slow location and put it in this one and see if that works, but i have no clue on how to remove them. just the bill box. i also unhooked the bottom part with the sensores no lights on or anything.

To fix the vendo problem.

Unplug the machine, and then remove ALL soda from that row, then there is a white clip on the motor that will need pressed up. That is the brake, while the break is pressed you can reach in from the bottom and turn the cradle clockwise by hand. Just turn it until it the motor on the left looks like the one on the right.

The reason it's humming is because the motor is trying to get back to the normal position but can't because there is something blocking it.

wow thanx! i will try it tomorow for sure. you dont think having touched the 2 wires still connected (i accidentally bridged them) would have blown it? it wasnt humming before. ill look for that white plastic. do u knows how to remove that slide and where to get one.

also the bill val is an MEI and it takes $1 and $5

if it was messed up wouldnt it still make a noise or led turn on?

To remove any BA, you will need to invest in a small set of nut drivers - 1/4" through 1/2" should get it (make sure you get the 11/32" one). Harbor Freight has them for about ten bucks. There are 3 to 4 nuts holding the BA to the door - don't lose them.

Before you remove the BA read the flash code on the red LED If it is 2 flashes It is likely the coin mech low or defective.

Sometimes the reflectors fall out of the stacker box.

Ok want to thank all who helped. The motor thing worked by pressing the brake it was really jammed. It now vends perfect. I lunes the coin chute and fixed. The loud noise came from a small relay looking thing by the bill acceptor looks like a D battery with wires it was humming and vibrating. Just had to move it and then the light on the validator went off lol stopped accepting bills. Gave up on it abd opened after like 10 min and it was all working. I lived all the fans etc. W liquid wrench. It wasn't that loud just the fan. I bought the mei bv locally the same one for $75. I went to swap it out. I took of the gold long plate and then the validator. Pulled the sensor cartridge, unplugged the harness abd swapped it with the coin mech harness. Voila it worked great. And so does the coin mech. Thanx guys
