bhumphrey829
I just wanted to get your guys' opinons on whether I should get a website or not. I wouldn't mind having one, but I'm just not sure what purpose it would serve. I mean would businesses actually go online to look for someone to place a bulk vending machine or honor box in their business?
indiana
Every business is different, but I'd say most businesses, no matter their size, would benefit in some way from having a website. A website has the potential of elevating the image and overall "brand" of your company-- directly impacting potential customers' perception of your company. I realize a great deal of business is generated from referrals and word of mouth, but there are many companies that start looking for what they need online. Or, like what I have done at work, after getting a referral for a particular company, I'll look for their website to learn more about who they are and what they offer. Websites are so easy to create these days, too, I don't see many reasons at all not to have one.
shepherdsflock
Not very likely. Unless you're planning on doing full line and/or OCS, I'd just skip the website. It's an unnecessary expense that isn't likely to generate any value for your business.

I've got to agree with you here, I will often decide what companies I do business with or contract with at work based on their website. And realizing you can put together a site for free, and make a professional site for next to nothing, I really don't understand the arguments against having a site. But that's a business decision to make, and every business is different.
treadmill
I personally think it would be a waste of time and resources for bulk vending. I think the ideal business would be full line vending. This would be a must if you wanted to go big time IMO.
