bhumphrey829
This question is mainly for my fellow Texas bulk vendors, but really for anyone who deals with hot weather it won't be too much longer before we start getting the hot weather and I was just wondering how you guys keep your product from melting while running your routes, thanks in advance for your input
bullyfrog
Do a search. There are several old threads about this. Many use ice chests or portable ac units. My suv has rear ac which really helps with this. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
sherlock
I intentionally stay away from heat-sensitive products, but sometimes you can't help it at good locations. So I do carry some senstive product, but not much. Still, during hot summer days I keep the candy in the cab with me in an ice-chest. I have never put any cooling elements in there (ice, cold packs, etc) and have yet to experience a problem. I do run the a/c in my truck while driving and my truck does have tinted windows...but that's it. I do nothing else to protect heat sensitive candy and have never had a problem. The ice chest seems to keep the heat at bay just fine.
