shepherdsflock
I'm going to be switching a couple of gumball heads over to candy. I'm looking for suggestions about candies that sell well and have a long shelf life. I'm thinking about maybe Bonz or Runts. Any other suggestions? I'm probably going to have to buy 25 or 30 lbs. to get a decent price, hence the need for it to last a long time. Using that many lbs. of candy in a small number of machines is going to take a while. I might also toss some into a couple of my triple machine heads. All you candy pro's out there, what advice can you give me?
GagesVending
Runts tend to last a long time. They only sell well to locations with lots of kids, so keep that in mind. I've never tried Bonz. I'm happy with Skittles, they don't last forever, but quite awhile as long as they aren't exposed to too much sunlight.
F J Vending
I would also agree with skittles, appeals to kids and adults. Maybe hot tamales or Mike ike, their shelf life is about the same as skittles. All should not be in direct sun or extreme heat
